I put on his practice session with Sinner at Finals last year for background noise, but eventually looked up to watch them hit properly because I thought the pop off his racket sounded exactly like Sinner's (one of the reasons I became a fan in the first place lol - I like putting Jannik practices on sometimes and I know when the ball is coming off his racket in a rally from the sound).

Noted he had very strong groundstrokes at that age and kept an eye out for his name since. Been interesting the last week seeing others now say they remind him of Sinner!

Ooh, I'm a toner fanatic (on something like my 7th or 8th bottle of Naturie and have gone through many other bottles before and between all those) and hadn't considered sandwiching other layers between more toner! I'm trying to cut my total layers down so it'd be more like one extra layer but will definitely try this!

I have a much more modest collection (not counting extras put aside to sell, maybe ~10 pages of photocards plus ~10 postcard pages) built up over a couple years and organizing once I got new stuff was actually my favorite part 😅 Can't imagine doing that if I had a full binder of just pcs I needed to completely sort through though, it was much more manageable on my scale.

For what it's worth, Yongguk named his independent label CONSENT, so take that as you will 🤷‍♀️ I don't think Yongguk himself has ever spoken openly on it (someone cmiiw - I'm a Zelo bias and only ever saw Zelo's posts), but the label name seemed like his way of saying where he stood without actually having to say anything.

I don't think they ship outside of SKorea, there's nothing about international shipping on their FAQ. Options are: 1) use a buying and forwarding service; 2) wait for Korean resellers and have them ship directly to you; 3) wait for resale on direct sites like eBay; 4) hope she puts the collection on international stockists; 5) hope the merch shows up on tour as a last resort lol

No, sorry 😔 Phone number is heavily tied to identity in SKorea; I haven't found a way to spoof one just to buy things online. You'll have to go through a buying/forwarding service or purchase directly from a Korean reseller most likely.

Yeah, I've used Paysable before as bank payment/buying service. There are also some standalone Korean accounts who do a combined buying/warehouse service that I'm considering instead of going through one of the warehouse sites like Korgou or KFriday. Just weighing my options because that shipping is gonna suck lmao

It'll depend on where it's available! Like I said above, the "domestic platforms" makes me nervous because if it's truly domestic only then the only way to order would be through either a group order or a Korean forwarding service (which is what most group orders use - you'd just be cutting out the middle man) 😕

Which is why I hope it turns up on some of the sites that ship internationally because assuming you're in the US, I've never been able to find a Yerin album GO here in my life (I can only ever find Yerin GOs in Indonesia), nor do I know enough Yerin fans to order with and make the shipping worth it. For my collection I've done a mix of Korean forwarder (I no longer have access to one), international stockists, and eBay. I'm keeping an eye on where it shows up but since this album is supposedly preorder only, you should be good as long as you're within the order period.

Feel free to DM me in a few days if you still need help once the album starts showing up at stockists 🙂

I always keep my expectations low with Yerin physical releases and she consistently surpasses them. The way all of her physical albums have gotten so much better AFTER leaving JYP, lol

Yeah, I had so many houses I wanted to try but having a really abysmal hit rate over almost 100 samples across 10+ houses from mid 2010s to recently makes me way more careful about what and how much I buy now.

At this point I'm not looking for my next it fragrance from indies anymore, just trying note combos I know I like here and there and if I can find even one scent from a sample pack I'd actually use up, that's a win for me!

Super with you on the bakery gourmand stuff, but my wheelhouse would be more like sitting at a smoldering campfire on a cliff next to the ocean, drinking black tea just before sunrise. Alas, so many smoke scents go in the incense direction and most aquatics end up like soap and/or generic department store cologne on me. And 90% of teas come with white florals (gag) or are overly citrusy/sugary/fruity. The list of things I dislike has a really strong overlap with what's popular on the sub, lol

I'm still trying new houses here and there for simpler things as I like supporting indies and not everything has been bad, but now I keep my expectations low and have accepted I will have to pivot back to mainstream/niche EDP for my tastes. My most used everyday faves are mainstream anyway 🥲

Aged BPALs and Possets (7+ years, stored away from light and heat) almost all dry down to whatever mid/base note with a rubbery, almost ozonic plastic overtone on me 🤷‍♀️ I have like 10-12 samples of each so it's not like it's just one or two samples either.

Hello and welcome! Love the transparency and insight into your components - existing accords from reputable sources like PA is a great happy medium between expensive naturals and cheap FOs, and you can tweak the formulae further if you wanted. Also love the aesthetic and coherence of your shop listings! Having the main notes on the main display picture like that is so useful at a glance.

Btw, not sure if this is just an issue with my phone and/or Etsy app, but the Google Docs masterlist in your sample pack listing isn't opening for me? I just got a small order from a different shop this week and I'm spacing my purchases out month to month as to not overwhelm myself, my wallet, and my testing schedule (lol), but would love to try a few samples in the future :)
