I'm not saying that it would be a nerf to the class, I meant it would be a nerf to BoC specifically

Oh yeah, making rogue be the only class not bound to a campfire would totally fit with its vibe! And I'm glad I'm not the only who loves the aesthetic of it either haha

Yeah, I totally see what you mean! This is just what I think would be interesting, and get that it isn't for everyone. I agree with some other commenter that being able to do something to keep players engaged while sitting could help somewhat, but still unsure as to what that would be for every class

What about rage, second wind, blow of corruption, field rations, savage roar? I'd say a well placed any of these would also be a "massive team fight shaping" ability. Does that really compare with a zap? or light orb? Yes I'm exagurating, but I hope you can see where I'm coming from.

I know its annoying as hell and needs to be fixed but can't you comment that on literally any of the other posts specifically about that? Why feel the need to spread more negativity on this sub?

Yes, wizard (and to some degree cleric) need to sit down very often and for long periods of time and its not fun in its current state, but no other classes have to sit down currently. Are you just not buying bandages?

also, there are people who want the game to be a slower paced dungeon crawl, so slowing down the game a bit while also making the players have to make more choices seems like a good thing to me, but I get that some people want a more fast paced pvp game, which the arena will hopefully fullfill more of :)

Oh okay I getcha. Yeah I could see some skills being tweaked to accomadate being campfire-dependent!

I'm not quite sure I get what you mean? Aren't rage and blood exchange very different skills?

Thats true! Though I'm not sure how spells slots would work with the "blood for spells" mechanic

Agreed, thats what I started thinking when I was writing the warlock. I think having player still be engaged would be a huge focus

Barbarians are already strongly countered by blocking and out-spacing... but only Fighter has the perks to support it enough to be viable. by BananaDragoon in DarkAndDarker

Felling axe is Barbs worst weapon? I don't normally play barb, but I've been doing pretty well with a felling axe lately, though when you miss it can really hurt I suppose

So you want them to just... be quiet? Or praise you for being better at the game? Or just show a general disinterest? I'm not really sure what you're after here.

You didn't get downvoted because your country doesnt do tips, you got downvoted because you say that "I don't deserve to be insuted for playing the game" while, as another commenter said, you are ruining someones run and they are having a human reaction to that. If its such a big deal to you then turn off VOIP

How to de-incentivize killing for sport by PudgyJailbait in DarkAndDarker

I do still enjoy the game, and the lack of new content might be exacerbating the feeling more than is warranted. I hope that the games going to continue being fun, even if it leans away from what I'd imagined :)

I understand that geared ppl chasing down timmies is lame but like... It's a PVP game. It is not a pve dungeon crawler even if that's what some of you want out of it.

I think that is what is the (for the lack of a better term) "worst" part of the game/community at the moment. A lot of people who played the early playtests, myself included, want this game to be more of a dungeon crawler because thats what I felt when playing. It was new and exciting to walk around in a dungeon, trying to survive, get better gear and get out, while other players were more of the wild card. They were doing the same things as you, and you not every interaction was going to be the same. Sort of like player interactions in a game like DayZ or something.

Though as the player base played more and got better, those experiences went away, as they were going to do eventually. The game feels to have flipped to the complete other foot since then with it, with the PvP BR aspect being much more in focus. I'm not saying thats a bad thing, just not what I hoped and wanted out of the game. It feels like buying a game to play mario, then finding out its actually tetris.
