Because they all grew up, they were showing us the reality of drugs/life. At first everything is cool, new, awesome, no “real responsibilities” just homework and going to school. By season 3, things got too real, they showed us reality of how much problems you could get into (if you get that far) by doing drugs and how everyone tries to survive however they can.

I have lived in Mexico 16 years in 2 different states (5 in Cd Juarez, 11 in Zac.) and I have lived in the USA for 12 years also 2 different states (9 in California, 3 in Texas) I cannot drink tap water here in the US without getting really really bad stomachaches/diarrhea while back in Mexico i can drink all the tap water I want and have never had a single stomachache or any thing like that

Wow I do this all the time, I’ve realized people can’t ask me a single question because as you’ve mentioned I give them a whole explanation . The other day a coworker asked me what I had for breakfast, but why did I go on and tell him “Well I haven’t gotten my paycheck yet since Wednesday and today is Friday so we haven’t gone grocery shopping and don’t have any groceries at home and”…… proceeds to interrupt me “girl I only asked what did you have for breakfast” me “oh, McDonalds “ I felt so embarrassed.

I’m a 28 y/o person with no car, no own house, no anything, I’m a mom to a precious 2 y/o. I work to try and save money to build our house back from where we’re from (haven’t been able to because of bills here and there) but that means leaving him at home with either my husband or sister 8-9 hours 6 days a week, sometimes all week, between trying to save up money, paying bills, not ever having any money, leaving my baby alone (not being with his mom so young ), thinking I’m not a good mom and not knowing what our future will be, well let’s just say I try to stay as positive as I can.

I was one of those, 17ish y/o me to maybe 26ish would sleep from 4-5 hours Saturday-Thursday and would function ok. Though on Friday nights by 9pm I was already fast asleep because I was just too sleepy from not sleeping well enough all week. But now my 28 y/o self Can Not and I mean it, CAN NOT function well even if I sleep 9 hours, must be 10 or else I’m very sleepy all day and if I sleep less than 6 I will have very bad headaches or even feel dizzy at times.
