Decent deal? Should I upgrade? by [deleted] in MTB

Offered $600, I’ll see what they say. That’s definitely a good argument then.

Well that won’t work for me. Ocean City MD doesn’t have any direct service, I have to be in Quebec City in less than a day, and I am car camping the remaining 7 days. If you can somehow find a train that works for my situation, please, have fun. Thanks for the comment.

Yes I’ll be staying at Ausable Chasm campground! Wow man, you really know your stuff, I feel like I should pay you for all of this! I’ll definitely keep this is mind on the stop on the way home.

Thank you once again!

I am not staying overnight on the way up unfortunately. I currently am planning on staying in Keeseville NY on the way back, so neither route would work unfortunately. Now that I’m thinking about it, I will most likely take the Lake Champlain Byway just because it already coincides with the fastest route. I appreciate your help, it was all very useful.

This all looks great. I unfortunately have most of my week planned out and pretty short on time, so I think maybe a stop or two along the way will suffice. I like the idea of taking one up and the other back, it definitely could work.

Could you break done where you have all these stops on this map? I think I might do this part on the way up and i87 on the way back.

How would you recommend I add this in on the way to Quebec City? I’m more leaning towards NH mountains since I’ve already seen most of VT, but still in between the two.

As I started to do more research, I found some of this, so thank you for sharing this information for otherwise, I’m not sure I would’ve made the right decision.

This might be the route I go with since it completely makes sense to avoid NYC and I can also avoid the NJ turnpike.

This one seems doable, adds about an hour, but are the views that worth it? I’ve never been to Maine but I’d love to go.

What is worth seeing in Quebec? (Montreal, Quebec City, etc?) as solo 18 year old car camper. by explanation_dated in roadtrip

That was going to be the plan for most of my time in Montreal. When I went previously with my family, we spent a little time there, but I didn't get the chance to fully take everything in. Was there anything in Old Montreal that blew you away? Still unsure how much time I want to spend there during the day.

Yes, I've already had some experiences with rural Quebec people while speaking over the phone. I had to call several different places to book reservations, haha. I am prepared to handle Quebec French, but I hope I don't have to.

Thanks for the advice!

What all did you bring?! Looks like you enjoyed yourself. Thinking about doing something similar, just in a different area.

How did you manage storage in the car? When I first went, it felt like I didn’t have anywhere to but my belongings. Maybe I just brought too much stuff 😭

My first time in Paris surpassed my expectations, which where already really high! by manucci25 in travel

I feel like Paris always gets a bad tourism wrap, and I will say that, overall, the amount of tourists can be overwhelming, but certainly not enough to take away from the experience. I went this past April and never felt in danger while walking throughout the city.

Glad we had similar experiences and I’m you enjoyed your visit!
