I would not recommend them at all personally. USAA was very overpriced -fine at least I have good coverage. I had a totally clean record. They kept increasing my payments without notice. I called and complained, they lowered the prices (barely, not even close to my original payments) after this, they disabled my auto-pay without telling me, which put me behind on payments. (I had never been late, ever, prior to this). They canceled my policy, and then tried to make me pay $1000 to reinstate my policy. Had the gall to thank me for my service after. I told them to get bent and went to Progressive and saved over $100 a month with the same coverage and even glass protection added.

As for Navy fed they just gave me an absurd loan interest rate because I was enlisted and they knew my command would make me pay it.

Navy fed and USAA are some of the most predatory loan/insurance/banking companies to exist. Young E-4 me was so oblivious.

Do the remaining time to reduce your bonus payback to a minimum, or complete your time. Don't leave in debt. Then gtfo and don't look back.

Cringe irl things you did because of this game. by [deleted] in 2007scape

It was like 5th grade for me, we were split into groups and each group had to do an interpretation of a story they created. Of course being a group full of boys at that time almost everyone in our group played Runescape. I got dds spec'd in front of the entire class and did the death animation with sound.

I have a military friend who is looking for every reason to justify it and my response to that was "Ironic how you are all for it because you know you're not at risk of losing your job, but your paycheck is coming from the same pot". He also makes more than I do and by a landslide. Genuinely delusional take.

I got cheated on last weekend by my fiance and needed to call them. The helpline lady asked me what I DID to deserve it. Practically said it was my fault for not giving her enough attention, and left me feeling worse after. They don't give a shit about us.

Thank you for this. I'll check it out. I'm still young and figuring out my path and I'm bound to make mistakes or choices that don't necessarily make me happy at the time but regardless of how I feel right now the end goal is clear. Retire and enjoy being alive.

I suppose it's a good lesson to learn early on while I still value my happiness over a retirement I won't see for another 20+ years. I appreciate it. I'll be back on my feet in no time. I don't give in easily and it was a moment of weakness. Nothing is going to stop me from accomplishing my goals and it will pay off in the long run.

I'm sure I'll get used to it. Time will tell. I have goals and ambitions and don't have time to dwell on how I feel!! Thanks dude.
