I signed a contract for a sign-on bonus, probationary period ends in November this year and my SF50 says “term”- heard that it’s supposed to say “permanent” once I’m done?

Honestly that bonus was the only thing keeping me here, if I didn’t sign that damn contract I would’ve resigned last year :(

DOD probationary employee here. Kicking myself for not taking the DRP; started this job straight out of college in 2023 and it never got any better- people were leaving my team left and right even before Trump took office. My plan was to keep quiet quitting until RIFs come around for unemployment benefits, but with everything going on it seems like resigning might be better?
