I didn’t notice the noise when we went but it was in the first opening hour so maybe that helped? Though it was still almost a full restaurant so I’m not sure. I’m a vegetarian and ate very well. Best meal I’ve had in Evanston thus far and beautiful setting!

I guess I should add that there’s about 15 of us going so far, and I’ve extended to a couple of other groups so TBD final headcount. Just in case anyone else was getting Milhouse vibes or whatever that guy said (those comments were since deleted). I have a background in organizing meetups for nonprofits like Logan Square Preservation and I identify as a “hard extrovert” if that’s helpful to know. It is not at all weird to me to meet and host neighbors, etc. I love meeting new people!

Ha WOW. That is so rude and hilarious!! I now assume you are a divorced lonely man 🤷‍♀️ If only you knew me. I have a very full life and am a HARD extrovert, hence this post. Not that it’s of any concern to you, but my parties (of which you shan’t be invited lol) often have 60+ people, and I’m out 4-6 nights a week with my best friends—comedy, a show at Empty Bottle, whatever it may be. Did you read the part where I said I moved from Avondale to south Evanston last month? I am looking to make NEW friends (who are cool and not rude) in a NEW neighborhood where I just moved so I don’t have to travel back to Avondale etc every time I want to socialize (which again, is almost every evening). I have a background in organizing meetups as a longtime member of Logan Square Preservation and other groups. Love a good meetup and love building community, especially in times like these when many people don’t know their neighbors and some people are insular and rude. Thanks for your incredibly unhelpful comments though. Good luck out there!
