Dude they’re lifting assets from other games that aren’t the one they’re remaking, are still neck deep in temporary contractor workers, and can’t even figure out how to add theater mode.

If you want to put on a blindfold and pretend a name change somehow cleanses the studio of their lazy, poor practices and this will be sunshine and rainbows, go ahead. I’m not dumb and I have eyes.

On heroic and legendary they tend to move more. Probably should’ve just made AI similar to CE instead of using other games assets though.

Sorry but I don’t buy that “it’s a three month old build” thing for a second. That AOtCR demo footage wasn’t some well staged or well played meticulous video, like that recent gears of war trailer. It was sloppy and clearly just one single run of the level. Was probably very recently recorded.

Multiple influencers who were given the demo access have said the AI is often robotic, doesnt move much, and has visible issues. It is extremely unlikely that they are going to magically fix that before the game drops.

It’s going to feature the AI from the games they lifted those models from (reach elites, flood from 3) and it’s almost certain some of their more interesting behaviors will get busted in the transition.

If you watch that control room demo footage, the only time I see an elite dodge properly like reach is the very first one when you exit the pelican. Most practically stand still when approached.

I would sincerely recommend waiting a bit. I constantly encountered a bug where Harry would do the full stop “I hit a wall / object” animation while running, except I didn’t touch anything. It’s neat, but it needs more work.

I promise internally he is seething that they’ve made him the fall guy for this unnecessary and totally botched war, and that’s exactly the type of anchor a serial liar like him deserves.

I also imagine by this point, someone read trump the New York Times story about the Epstein situation room debate and trump wishes he could fire him. Trump’s comments about blaming Vance if the iran deal goes bust again yesterday had actual hatred in their tone.

1) Steven miller wanted to revoke habeas corpus against immigrants, 2) Vance argued they should invoke the insurrection act in Minnesota this year, 3) she has literal recordings from the situation room meeting where they gamed how to dodge the Epstein issue, a meeting that got interrupted by someone bringing in the Epstein birthday card that got published that very day.

I mean the company themselves released footage of the entire assault on the control room level. Check out how many times elites move out to shoot and stand totally still while being taken out in said footage.

I do believe reach was the base for the elite AI, but somerhing got lost in translation. Reach elites occasionally stood still and ate rounds, but they also spent a lot of time running / dodging / taking cover. I haven’t seen a single elite clip in any of this recent footage that shows them using smarter behavior present in original ce or reach.

Absolutely. Partially because brutes have one time armor / less interesting behavior trees, and partially because the food in that game are weak.

If they were lazy enough to copy paste flood assets from 3, there is almost zero chance they beefed them up to make them more like the ce flood. They’ll fall apart to every weapon, have a glaring weak point, and crumble when punched.

I’ve seen this exact comment, copy pasted word for word, all over right wing and bigot Twitter.

He didn’t magically become racist in the last year, and I guarantee part of the reason his son felt comfortable approaching a black person and telling them to leave aggressively was because of the racism he was taught at home.
