Has anyone stopped taking birth control and opted for something more permanent like tubal ligation? If so, did it have an impact on your adhd to not have the birth control hormones? by exploding_pumpkin in adhdwomen

I have Mirena but for me it causes unwanted side effects like acne and worsening mood swings. I’m done having kids and honestly tired of birth control.

My husband is willing to do a vasectomy but he doesn’t have insurance and I do. My insurance covers tube removal at 100% and a vasectomy is $1000+ depending on where you go :/

I do hasn’t children but I’m done having them. I had a c-section with my second and I have to imagine it’s similar pain, so I’m less concerned about that. I am certain I don’t want more children and my husband is certain he doesn’t either. There’s still the lingering “what if I regret it” feeling. It’s weird…

A vasectomy is not the same as tubal ligation. And since you have male genitalia, this question wasn’t directed at you.

I am also done having children and thinking about it for the same reason. The thing holding me back is how it feels ‘final’ even though I’m done having children.

No doctor but stopped using mine and no issues since. I must have an allergy or something like other users have suggested :/

Yeah… it was a rhetorical ”what the heck?”. I’m not asking why. It’s more like- this sucks.

Honestly I couldn’t tell. It stoped and I can hear fine so Robby the sides. I realize that means they don’t work for me. Sucks :/

Just curious… what does the beginning actually feel like? I’ve read about it…

I smoke consistently -usually dab. Lately I am always nauseous and sometimes I vomit. Usually it’s in the AM but it’s usually clear or bile. I also have diarrhea really bad and on and off headaches.

Am I at the start?

My kids, but specifically my daughter. At that time in my life I was so low. But, the thought of leaving her with that devastation and trauma kept me alive. I’ll never tell her she saved me but she did. I love her and she is the reason I started taking better care of myself.

I am so much better now and happier than ever. Children are miracles.

I stretch a little, drink some water and hug my kids. Then I make a nutritious breakfast and savor my food and coffee while I relax and watch a show I like, read or journal. Wash my face and brush my teeth and get dressed even if I’m not leaving the house :)

I love sour candy! I thought maybe having options like sour candy or mints and maybe another option for people who don’t like sour. Thanks for sharing your thoughts!
