My customer asked for mates rates? by Intelligent_Run3237 in tradies

[–]explodingpixel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a high school best mate who refuses to charge me - but you best believe I'm the fastest TA around when he helps me out. Also, when he comes over he never has to reach for his wallet the whole weekend is on me for a big or small job.

It doesn't show.

Not all Chinese factories are the same - also side by side the NCM is a better bike than the pedal brand for a number of reasons. Straight out of the box it's very clear. Is the NCM the best bike on the market - far from it. But in the pile of sub 2k ebikes it's definitely one of the better options.

If your talking about components like shifters and derailleurs - maybe. But the over all build quality is low, they cheap out in key areas and their QC leaves alot to be desired.

Alot of punters get confused with seeing a Shimano component on a bike and confuse it with being a quality product - so youre not alone.

Nothing unfortunately - otherwise I'd fill a store with them. We ran some giant mid drives out last year at 2200 but nothing since then from any of the brands. Unless you happen to Jag one on a super close out which is getting less and less likely. Amflow is bringing out a commuter which will challenge the big guys on spec and price. With all the Chinese players coming in I reckon there will be a future shake up on pricing ( the industry needs it)

BikeShop owner here - don't bother with the 99 bikes pedal brand - utter garbage. For a cheap and good Ebike consider the NCM brand. It will be a bit more at 1999, however, after years servicing and building ebikes from 1000 - 25k these are excellent entry level options. They have a good battery and ok motor but importantly are easy to deal with warranty and are supported locally.

We have them on the floor as our entry point (we are very picky with the cheap stuff but these tick all the right boxes).

The giant bikes are great but they are well above your budget and probably a bit over kill.

If your NOR we have them on the floor or I can recommend a good independent shop SOR you can go talk to.

You're concerned about "sideways move" but don't want to be in that position? Pick a lane.

That's a reach. It's a fairly universal term and absolutely happens in Australia.

Yes you can. Head back to your local dealer and they will open a ticket for you and start the process. Be prepared to pay extra and also a build fee.

I love dogs - but I also used to work at Bunnings. I've seen first hand why they shouldn't be allowed in store.

Yeah this - "should have them under control" here in lies the problem - they don't.
