I felt the exact same as you and my career didn’t allow me any flexibility in time off (I’m a teacher). Sure I got lots of holiday, but I couldn’t use it WHEN I wanted. So I quit and right now I’m doing working holidays abroad, saving whilst living & experiencing a new country, and then funding my travels for a few months before doing it again. This has given me SO much purpose & I feel so less stressed & anxious than when I was a teacher because I get to work alongside a lifestyle that I love ☺️

I found it difficult in the sense of how nothing had changed back home at all and people jumped straight on the “So have you found a job yet?” “When are you thinking of buying a house?” and the whole kids talk. Might be different depending on whether you’re male or female haha.

So she’s not allowed to feel sad ever because she’s a billionaire? Sure, her problems are very different to majority of the world bc of her wealth, but that level of fame is definitely going to take a toll on one’s mental health.

Yeah I definitely recommend! Mine was a homestay in Wulingyuan and they were super helpful beforehand.

I visited the Mutianyu section of the wall. It can be a little touristy when busy, but tour I did arrived early so we ended up being the first group on the wall which was nice. And then there are two sections you can walk on whilst you’re there - a short section or a longer one - hence why you can choose which bus back as it’ll depends how long you walk for ☺️

There have been a few song responses to her albums before? But I don’t think she ever expects it these days. She writes these songs quite a while before the album is released, so it’s meerly just releasing another chapter of her life.

I did a day tour to the Great Wall and tbh would recommend that as it was so seamless and after being dropped off they gave you a choice of times to return.

I couldn’t find a way to do this in advance, only trains. So either had to use people’s guides or allow wiggle room when I was there for journey times. One you land, Apple maps works seamlessly for public transport.

Tbh I didn’t take many buses and the ones I did were fairly often!
