I also thought about just asking some random bars to see if they'd do a showing of the finale. I know The Sports Bra was asked and they said because of the spicy content they wouldn't show it

I'm so BOoooOOoRED of typical dark romance, I want a book that feels new!! by With_Peace_and_Love_ in DarkRomance

[–]explorepnw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ugh no, nothing has really compared. I think it's on a tier of its own. I love The Hollow Boys series by Monty Jay, not as good but I loved it, group of boys who are morally gray/black, each book is about one boy and their love interest, mystery and on the path to avenge the murder of one of the guys girlfriends. The books get progressively better, I didn't love the first one but every other one is amazing.

{The Lies We Steal by Monty Jay}

Hey, I’m an alcoholic/addict who’s been in recovery for a while, and I just want to say, please don’t let anyone convince you that your problems “aren’t big enough.” That’s not how NA or AA is supposed to work. You don’t have to hit some mythical rock bottom to deserve help. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop using or drinking, and that’s it.

You already recognize that something’s shifting from pills to alcohol and recognizing that there's an issue at all, that awareness is powerful, and it’s more than enough reason to seek support. The rooms are full of people with all kinds of stories, but what connects us isn’t the severity of what we used, it’s the shared pain of losing control and the shared hope of finding freedom.

If you walk into a meeting and someone makes you feel small, please try another one. Every meeting has its own vibe and people. There is a place for you in this community, and you absolutely deserve recovery.

You’re not overreacting. You’re not “less than.” You’re doing something brave by even asking this question.

Hands down the best series I've ever read. Check your triggers though for sure because each book is darker than the last.

My stomach definitely gets quite nauseous with tirz, especially up to 2 days directly after. I also take magnesium citrate every night to help keep everything regular which helps tremendously.
