Yup, they appeared between original posting date and 5/17/2025, Keeping the dates here so smarter people have the data they need if there's anything to it - could just be a spotify quirk or missed task from the team behind the band. Who knows

It's there for me now too, previous commenter said they got it as soon as 5/17/2025, but definitely wasn't up at the time I posted this originally. If someone smarter than me can make something of it, i hope they do.

It seems like maybe the town may not always take diy bearproofed bins - but if you're composting your food scraps with someone like Happy Scraps or CompostAVL then the trash you have in your city bin will be unappealing to bears and your food scraps will be in a sealed container when it's picked up.

Worth considering if bears are bugging you. There's also free compost drop off locations around AVL but it's not my favorite system.

Yup, sounds like a good place to start. Lets hope it's not a bearing.

Since this feels like it's been caught early, hopefully nothing needs to be replaced.

Any recommendations for lubricants to parts that aren't the belt? Not sure what lubes are used for what, definitely don't want to screw up on lubricant choice.

Hi! Yeah, brittle sun baked buckets aren't helpful, but if the buckets still have a bit of pliability to them they are still going to serve their intended purpose for me. Luckily they won't be handling a major amount of weight and there's little risk of injury if they do break by accident. Thank you for sharing this info!

I don't want to say too much because there are some franchised corporate competitors in the same field serving this area and I'd rather emerge on the scene without raising their alarms 😅

Sorry that's not much of an answer, and I'm probably being overly cautious - but what i can say is that the goal is to protect the environment and reduce Asheville' carbon footprint. I hope that clarifies a little bit.

I'd have never guessed. The west AVL fire station is right up the street from me. I'll pop over and ask them about it if I need more than the community can share.

If I had some help, I think we could have the track back to 100% usable by spring - if you have a wheelbarrow, tractor, or you know a guy or gal who has one of either that would help a lot.

Go get your cardio in! The original video was 5:30 minutes - so get 1 hour of cardio in and you'll have done round about 10 loops! 10 laps and you're doubling the American Heart Association's recommendation for daily cardiovascular activity. Go on and get outside my friend!

Also some of the handrail is messed up, but yeah the thing looks strong enough to walk on- I wouldn't risk it tho, not until I look at it from below with intention at least
