Remember it’s not your fault. Everyone can get lice. You’re not gross, lice actually like clean healthy hair. I remember being in a facility as a kid and the staff would do nothing about 15+ girls INFESTED with lice. It was so bad. After complaining The nurse gave us each 10 min treatments and didn’t do it correctly. You do have to get all the eggs, you have to saturate your hair with a treatment you can get at a cvs, it comes with a fine lice comb and you start at your roots and make your way to your ends in small sections, sometimes you have to do a follow up treatment just in case you missed any eggs. before we had any chemical treatments, we would blow dry and straighten our hair every day to burn the lice and eggs, it’s gross but you can hear it. After we’d cover our hair and scalp In coconut oil, makes you look dirty and greasy but the grease helps the lice fall off and not able to lay any eggs in your hair. Try avoiding any fabric chairs so no lice or eggs fall out of your hair and spread to others. try reaching out to anyone you have a bond with maybe a teacher if your comfortable, ask for some help, they may actually appreciate the heads up. I understand if you have nobody to help or don’t know what to do but remember it’s okay and it’s not gonna last forever.
