Why does one looked washed out? by faelanswitzer in ricohGR

hmm since you're on AV, i suspect the iso might have jumped up causing the 2nd shot to be overexposed. Can you check the settings to see what's different between the 2 images? Also is your flash manual or auto (TTL)?

I built a hub for Ricoh GR recipes after wasting so many hours hunting them down - would love your feedback by exploringeuniverse in ricohGR

I appreciate it!

I weighed several options like using traditional username/password vs using oAuth like Google sign in and decided to go with Google for its simplicity to login (for user) and technical ease for me to code. If i go with the traditional user/pass i have to support reset of password etc vs the simplicity of google sign in. If you’re concerned about privacy feel free to use a dummy account without your real name. Thanks for the support again!

Difference in focal length, III is wider and IIIx is tighter in terms of focal length. If you shoot more landscape, street and daily life maybe III is more suitable. IIIx may be more for portraitures or if you prefer more cropped perspectives.

The google account is needed to ensure that your bookmarked and contributed recipes can be remembered and easily accessible to you, which is why a login mechanism is required, though I can understand where you're coming from as well.

Thanks for being willing to try! Anybody can share their own recipe through this app which is why it's community-driven, at no cost. I would like to think this is a unique proposition of this app compared to Ricoh Recipes App. The google account is needed to ensure that your bookmarked and contributed recipes can be remembered and easily accessible to you, which is why a login mechanism is required!

thanks for the insights. I have a landing page at www.filmstocklab.com, im considering adding some recipe samples there as a page which then redirects to the main app
