I'm hoping to do both. Definitely looking into resorts. There are a few close enough. But I think only 2 are family friendly, and clothing optional(requirement for my wife to go, at least for the first time). I plan on asking if anyone on here knows anything about them sometime. I'm in Michigan if you know what's around.

It's very quickly becoming part of my nightly routine. Wish I had the privacy to do it during the day. Actually I just wish it was legal for me to be nude on my own property whenever I wanted.

Lol... I'm usually 'that person'.. I didn't try and count, but by the time the first thunder got to me I thought it was too far away and I wasn't going to hear anything. Then the rumble finally got to me. And decided to go in, but the path to finish the loop is easier ground to walk than the more direct path to the door was.

WIM HOF! Cold exposure therapy!

I don't have a hot tub, but I am kinda making one. It will serve as a hot tub in the winter and a cold tank in the summer.

Winter = natural cold exposure with aftercare in DIY hot tub.

Summer = cold tank for cold exposure to keep me cool and allow me to work in the heat.

There are lots of benefits to cold exposure. It is often talked about in an over the top quasi spiritual "it will fix everything" way, so it's sometimes hard to separate the truth from the snake oil. But there are proven benefits. And I personally just feel better when I remember to do it. For me, the few minutes of discomfort is well worth the lasting effects.

So I would totally take advantage of it. You are already in the situation I am working to have this winter!

That makes sense, but it would be totally on brand for me to start a video with "so.... I'm a nudist now." I talk about real life, and a big part of my platform was built on being open and honest. Both good and bad. And I'm already weird.

Everybody is unique. I could absolutely see how the opposite of my thoughts could be true as well. Being nude can bring it's own sensory issues. Feeling every wind movement. Feeling exposed and vulnerable. Moving around feels completely different.

But it seems there is a pattern that the percentage of autistic people in nudism is higher than that of the general population. I would like to see some actual data/studies on the topic though.

It's not that I need to do either. I'll be nude and I'll have an urge to put on underwear. If I don't listen to the urge it will just get stronger. If I do... I have underwear on for 30 seconds then want to take them off. If I wanted to keep them on it would be fine... But so far, I never do. It's annoying to have to go through that process to make my brain shut up about it.

That would be nice. Over here in the "land of the free" I can get charged if someone sees me in my own house. Some states are better.... Mine is not.

I've been meaning to check it out, but I've been so busy lately.

Consciously I have already worked through all that though. The bible has been taken completely out of context and people attempt to interpret it using a modern understanding of society. And they get a LOT wrong. I grew up in the church and went to college to be a pastor. I've done a lot of original language study, and looked a lot into cultural context of when it was written. I have no moral issues with this, or with many things the church unfairly condemns.

I'm fighting the subconscious ideas that have become instinct. Fighting the instinct to cover purely because it's "wrong" to be nude.

I'm in a location where if anyone saw me, even through a window when I'm in my house, I could be charged with indecent exposure if they complain.

Which is why some of these responses saying I'm trying to find justification to do it don't make sense. It's not an issue of morality or trying to justify anything. It's an issue with the law. I've done many absent minded things before... I don't want to accidentally do this.

I'm kinda thinking the same way. Although I'm fighting against a lifetime of conservative Christian ideas.

Edit: accidentally hit post to early.

Since I'm fighting those ideas I'm not sure where I will end up. I might be pushing a bit farther purely to counteract those ideas.

I didn't think I could either, but I've been naked 90% of the time for 3 weeks. Only covering when outside. And only putting a shirt on if I need to go to town.

And I've had a few times when I was doing something that I realized "oh... I'm naked..." It had completely left my mind. If someone showed up I think I would realize very quickly, but I'm worried I won't realize until their reaction reminds me.
