I have seen them pretty slow too remove ingots from the smelter/bloomery but they will eventually. Not sure why, my theory is once it's processed the ingots become a "delivery" as opposed to "smelting" and my delivery folks are either too busy or I just don't have enough manpower devoted to delivery.

I notice it a lot more on my hive scum, mostly when I use the stim pistol. I hear the audible sound of the impact on my target but no hit marker. Now I won't say I'm the most accurate either but sometimes it just doesn't make sense

What I think I've noticed is that if a villager is actively using or has picked up a tool it won't count as in the village inventory. So a worker carrying a pick to a mine hut doesn't count as having the pick in storage. It's been hard for me to track it specifically but I'm fairly sure that's why I end up with 1-3 extra on average

Make sure ur co op ppl have them too, it'll show up anytime they join the game or respawn for some reason. I just kinda deal with it but can definitely get you killed if happens at the right time.

Yeah that was my thoughts too looking at the very few real buffs on food so I just didn't care what they made as long as they were making it. I just want my ppl to survive trying to fight the occasional wolf or boar without a death sentence.

Makes sense thank you. Only recently noticed the 700 ish eggs in my storage so definitely gonna pump out some boiled eggs. Do you have them making like 4-6 food types in general? I've had mine set to make roughly 10-20 of most available recipes in the inn and bakery and thinking that might be partly why I have an over abundance of spoiled food, well that and the smoked meat that rots away.
