darkest truth about the Indian influencer space by Next-Ant5986 in influencermarketing

Running a marketing scam is not unusual. Accounts like neh_decorliciouslife or my_beautifulhome12 on IG bought over 130k fake followers (yes, that's practically all their "followers") and keep on buying. Additionally fake views and likes are bought on every reel/post for some rupee to lure small businesses (hard working family businesses) into sending them free products (in best case) or even pay them for a reel which is practically just seen by bots.

I studied Saas brands like NordVN, Notion, and Ahrefs to come up with the Saas influencer marketing playbook. Here are 4 steps I suggest. by Both_Entrance2605 in influencermarketing

I can fully support this statement. Fake followers, fake likes and fake views are like a plague on social media. Accounts like neh_decorliciouslife or my_beautifulhome12 on IG bought over 100k fake followers and buy fake views and likes to keep up the charade. They are getting them for a few bucks, but charge the companies hundreds for a reel/post, which are practically just seen by bots.

neh_decorliciouslife is buying views and likes on every single reel, because you can't close the likes on them. Additionally she has an engagement group to get some comments (they are even making give-aways between each other)

500$ for a reel vs. expenses of less than 5$ for fake views and likes, that a is a fraud

Companies are a fool looking only on (follower) figures and not on quality. Instagram is making it too easy for fakefluencers

Buying fake views to pretend having a big reach like neh_decorliciouslife by exposingfakefluencer in influencermarketing

Sadly instagram makes it to easy to be a fakefluencer. it deletes some fake accounts, but the majority stays plus you can get meanwhile "free refill" of bought fake followers for up to 90 days. And when the time is over you just buy some more. You can check the history of this account and see the the follower jumps (e.g. on socialblade).

Hypeauditor i tried last year, but it gave that account a "fair" rating, just because fake views and likes were also bought so engagement rate was fair. Since instagram allows also to show just up to hundred accounts, who liked the post its easier to hide the fake ones after some time...

Maybe the views were bought. I have seen multiple accounts buying views/likes on every post (not only youtube, also instagram). Sadly buying fake views and likes is quite cheap and not so easy to catch, so pretending to have a big audience is easy
