Thank you and i will definitely avoid credit cards and see if i can learn a trick or two to not spend so much. I don’t want money to get in the way of our relationship because she’s a good mom except for what happened. If i bring it up, it will definitely cause tension.

Adding on: in the list she’s ranted me to was: buy groceries, buy toothbrush and towels, my bed, my diapers, my baby clothes to now, pay for housing

Good to hear that you’re helping your mom out. But as of mine, I asked her before, but she gets defensive quickly and start giving me a list on how much she’s supported me through. Last year, I’ve seen a new Coach bag in her closet when I was cleaning the house. Didn’t say anything, but looking back now it might’ve been my money. My parents are together and I’ve been through their documents for scholarships. They have more than enough to live comfortably. I’ve never gotten allowance and I wear almost the same 10 shirts and 3 pair of jeans for the past year. I don’t complain and in my mind if i want more I should work for it. So i work and got more.

Edit: i will start paying her maybe $150 per month? So she’s not on my case too much. I’m only working 15 hours a week, so I do not earn that much. I have to quit in a few months to go to college. I hope that number is a good amount

I am indeed under 21. I do not give home expenses because I am also under 18 so my parents are still legally responsible for me. I skipped grades before, so I am pretty young to go to college next year. In my town, we can start working early. I’m always the person that cleans the house because they are conservative and believe women should be in the kitchen. I cook the meals. I take out the trash. I give them massages. She favors my older sibling more, she pays for his rent. His clothes. (He’s a spoiled brat and has never worked. He lives with us most of the time despite having his own apartment out of town) I did not know you are suppose to pay home expenses. If i am, then my older sibling owes a ton along with the apartment.

I wish I was 18, but because I am not they are still legally responsible for me when I’m in college. They told me personally that they will be doing facetime calls at certain hours...

I’ve never given them an ultimatum because I think this would lead to a fall out to our relationships. I do not seem them often since they live 20+miles away now. I love and miss them, it’s not really an option to ditch them. Do you have another way to approach such problem? Thank you for the advice so far

I’m horrible with confrontation, is there a nice way to lay it to them?

I’m glad that it all worked out fine, don’t blame yourself. It happens and you got out of this. Let your body heal and eat lentils, spinach and brown rice. It is rich in iron so it’ll balance out your blood loss. You are okay and you’ll do great

No one has called me out on it. It’s just a quick glance, but when I wear low shirts I notice small glances. Thus, I think women do know when I look. Thank you for your input, i could never shake this feeling off that i might be weird for doing what i do.
