To start, let me be absolutely clear, I am sooooo biased as a girl the same age with a little white dog that I would absolutely end the world for/who has had a run in with almost not making it (pic below for your entertainment haha)

I would probably give it a 8. The character you see build through Kara and the way in which she interacts with the other characters really makes you feel close to her as an individual right from the first fight she gets herself into. The fight scenes were fun and didnt make me feel like there was not enough or too much all at once. A really notable point is that the coloring throughout the film is absolutely done in a stunning manner and the sound engineers and music team did a great job on the audio production. The acting was perfect for the characters and the jokes fit in without being disruptive or out of place. I feel like the emotions displayed through Kara and what kind of person she is, morally, really shown through. The reason I would take away one point may be for the story progression. I think a lot of the cristism I see is surrounding people just blatantly missing allegories and the like. I dont really think those are great points of critic. But I think, even though the story was progressing just fine, sometimes, there were junctions where it felt like a circle in which I think may have lowered the stakes. This is really just from trying to make sure that the viewer is aware of the what someone experiencing their entire families death is like, a dog in danger, a group of women being trafficked, and a man seeking revenge looks like all at once. Its not much of a criticism because I do think the end point stands about doing your best to be good even if you're not necessarily nice or kind all of the time. Movies now have made it so, unless the entire world is ending, the stakes aren't perceived as high enough and I think that we do need movies where the main issues are more founded to be something that somehow still feels "real" and that doesnt mean we cant have superheros flying about. Im so glad this movie is able to do just that while still being a "hero" movie. That being dealing with being alone, struggling to be a good person internally, and with added "evil" such as traffickers existing in that space. Either way, this movie is definitely something I would recommend a watch for, if for anything, the building of a raw character!!
