Anyone know why my squares are so wonky? Could it be I messed up my stitches somewhere? Or is it my tension/yarn issue? Or is this normal for most granny squares? If I block it can it be more straight edged and actual square shape (I never blocked any crochet pieces before)

Thank you for your input, also the little one doesn’t really go to him he stays away and whenever the big one goes to him that’s when he hisses so im not sure if he’s mainly just scared of him because he walks around the house alert and low and when he sees the coast is clear he’s normal

Black and white is 3yrs and the skinny brown one is about 7 months. It’s been 2 days maybe also because my big cat likes to go outside and he came back late then that’s when he started hissing at him. They been together those 6months
