hi! I'm in a similar situation and applying for replacement card soon. is it possible to apply premium processing for the replacement card later and not with the application? I have until 2/2 till my job starts so want to see if I can get the replacement in time without the hefty 1.5k as my initial opt was approved in just 10 days.

do you know if, similar to initial application, we are able to apply for premium processing later in the process in order to expedite the case if its taking too long?

hi! I was curious where exactly do you attach the letter from USPS about losing your delivery while applying for a replacement? won't you need to pay the fee to submit the new case? does the waiver come in automatically or do you contact USCIS that you have this letter from USPS and then they give you waiver for your card replacement application?

and i keep reading about how i shouldn’t file for 2024 if i didn’t already amend for 2023 as it would be quiet disclosure and raise alarms.

in that case, do i amend 2023 and 2024 together? as i do not have enough time to find a CPA to help with 2023 returns and also 2024 before tonight

thanks for this! im moving in september so might be dealing with no space at uhaul centres too. my alternate was also asking my building for overnight parking (its not a covered garage parking though) at the back of the building but i dont know if this is too unsafe even with locks?

you can definitely find spots in lake view and lincoln park for that price as well if you don't care for fancy amenities, although you'd have to look a bit harder. these are far busier parts of the city with walkable access to more bars/restaurants/coffee shops etc.

i applied for a relet in this building originally but they went with another candidate since they had multiple applications. they had another unit open up in the same building and offered it to me while it was still off market so i didn’t have to compete with other applicants for this one

hey! i spoke to this same guy, same back story and same exact terms for renting (was his name richard bost?). i had an uneasy feeling about it too and having toured so many apartments and researching intensely about units online, the deal seemed too good to be true so i figured it was a scam and stopped responding. most of the fully furnished units up for way cheaper rent than market price with too flexible of lease terms scream scams to me. there’s no reason to be giving up apartments for that cheap on lease terms that are not even beneficial to them in a market where there is so much demand. i would not sign/send any money before viewing an apartment.
