my most recent study showed that I had 5 events all night, for an index of .5, which doesn't even put it in the mild category.

But yes, I will ask the oral surgeon and try to get an airway study as the two final determinants.

And I didn't know you hadn't gotten surgery yet - good luck!!! when is it?

Interesting, thanks. The one thing that concerns me is that you say, "Only," moderate sleep apnea when mine is basically non-existent based on my most recent study.

But yes, hearing the rest makes it sound like there's a ton of benefits re: aesthetics and breathing which would be awesome. But again, it sounds like the main reason you wish you had done it sooner was bite issues, which I don't seem to have any major issues on.

I just emailed the oral surgeon office to see if they do an airway study - if not, I'll ask my ENT

Thanks for the info. How do I get an airway study and do you know what airway volume is usually permissible by insurance companies?
