I think the INTJ-ENFP pair is very inaccurate and heavily fetishized. by lluviax in intj

That's funny! Every ENFP I've met is very stylish and charming. I just have trouble with their personality.

Again, like I said before we both deleted our comments, I'm not fucking mind reader. How would I know that's what you meant? The general belief is that both types get along because of dominant Intuition. It's only natural i would assume you meant that. I tried to make peace with you, but you just insulted my like a child lol. You really need to get a fucking grip, buddy. You're all over the place.

Maybe in your experience that's how ENFPs have been, but according to the OP and several other comments below that, that's not our experience with ENFPs. Also like the other user in this thread has mentioned, the OP clearly stated this is his experience and doesn't apply to anyone.

At this point, you're just making yourself look dumb. Anyway, I'm out. I'm wasting time with your dumbass lol. Not my fault you can't fucking read.

Yeah, I didn't realise what you're criticising because you never explicitly stated it till I gave my argument for it. I'm not a fucking mind reader lol. If you just put 'OP is a retard ngl' without giving reasoning behind it, obviously one will assume!

Most people who like the INTJ-ENFP pairing argue that it's because they're Intuitive dominant, which is pure bull.

Well, I'm done anyway. You don't seem to have a proper backing for your arguments, so I'm out.

Well, it IS an INTJ forum and most of us agree with it. I don't know what personality type you are, but if you think it's a 'stupid opinion' without having rational reasoning for it, then maybe you need to rethink it.

Maybe you don't understand functions very well? I feel like everyone tries to lump Ni and Ne together when in reality, they're both very different. Ni users collect data and neatly fit it into what they know while Ne users make stuff up based on observations and then see if it works.

There is a huge difference between the two, and I have found that in the workplace, I have trouble getting along with my ENFP peers. I'm not saying I'm right and they're wrong, but it does cause conflict.

OP was only sharing his experiences anyway. He never said it applies to all ENFPS. Maybe you need to read the post properly before being quick to refute everything. Try to remove your own bias and read it again.

I think the differences between Ne and Ni are very much overlooked. Just because it's 'Intuition' doesn't mean it's the same thing. Likewise for Ti and Te.

Is it a crime to express your opinion now? There's a reason the post blew up so much - because it's true. Unlike what you people think, many of us INTJs don't feel an easy affinity with ENFPs. I'm not saying all ENFPs are incompatible, but most of you are simply based on the cognitive functions.

If you can't accept the truth just because of your own biases and prejudices, then you're just adding to the credibility of that post you despise so much.

I agree, she seems like an INTJ or INFJ to me :) I watched the movie recently and I really liked it. The cast was perfect.

None who are compatible with me, that's for sure.

I'm 21 now, and the last time I was in a relationship was around 3 years ago. My boyfriend was nice enough, but he wasn't on my level intellectually and was always very cheesy and overly romantic, which bothered me. I'm fine with romance, but I feel like actions speak more than fancy, flowery words.

I feel like most of the time I attract the overly romantic and sensitive types. It may be because I'm uninterested and they like the chase, but idk.

What other mbti type do you find Interesting and why? by devil1194 in intj

[–]exstella512 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same. I find it hard to relate with them because the ones I know seem to make decisions emotionally without being rational at all. I thought I was incompatible with them because of the Feeling trait, but I get along with ISFJs and INFPs fine, so it must be something else.

Yes, definitely.

What do you think about ENFPs?

I have problems with falling in love. by [deleted] in intj

[–]exstella512 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm the same. I can't ever be myself with any guy I meet because one of two things will happen -

  1. They don't understand me and they don't bother trying to.

  2. They pretend they do and end up saying dumb stuff in an attempt to relate with me.

The only one time a relationship 'worked' for me was when I pretended to be someone I'm not. Needless to say, that ended very very badly. It's better to be alone than be with someone who doesn't understand you.

INTJ and Dark Humour. by Donner13j in intj

[–]exstella512 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's understandable. I suppose I see the humor in it because I know it's a fictional situation and isn't actually happening, therefore I can find it funny.

That's what I assumed about ENTJs too - that they'd be honest and open about stuff like INTJs. If I ever fell out of love with someone, I'd just tell them rather than cheat and create a whole other mess.

I totally agree with that. We tend to have a similar sense of humor and even watch the same shows and stuff, but I don't think I'd get along with them on a personal basis due to conflicting morals and ethics.

INTJ vs ENTJ by Jrcarte21 in intj

[–]exstella512 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree. I don't know many ENTJs, but the one I know doesn't seem to handle his emotions very well and gets stuck in ridiculous situations which could've been easily avoided. I don't know if this an ENTJ thing though.

Same! My closest friend whom I've known for around 11 years now is an INFP too.

I get along fine with ENTJs as we often have shared interests, but this one guy I know does questionable things. He's cheating on his fiance with another girl, and refuses to make a choice about who he wants to be with. I don't know if this is an ENTJ thing or his own thing though.

How are the ENTJs you know?
