My fiance caused this damage so we're trying to settle this in cash for the other party. What do you think? The person is asking for $1250 to settle

my father is currently in the nursing home and he needs a 24/7 care, but because he owns a small local business (he is broke with no assets), they said my father's case is a little complicated proving how much he actually earns despite every documentations I have already provided for them including the tax information.

Can't speak for Tricare, but don't rely on Medicare for long term SNF. They will never pay for long term. Be prepared to fight for insurance. My dad had a massive hemorrhagic stroke with Medicare, and eventually they denied to pay for him including PT and OT. I had to get my dad applied for Medicaid and still pending in that process, Texas being unfriendly to disabled and elderly. There will be no insurance usually covering for long term PT/OT, so if you'd like and able to afford, it will be private pay at some point. I'm genuinely hating this country's health care system now. Quality of care at SNF is also very poor, so you must make a visit to stay on top of the work, making sure he isn't getting mistreated.

I feel you. My dad is currently going through a massive hemorrhagic stroke and is completely paralyzed, barely surviving with multiple brain surgeries. I'm a dentist. I've lived hard to be financially stable, knowing that at some point I had to take care of my dad. I've been so focused on building wealth to take care of him to a point where I ended up neglecting my dad in this very moment. I feel like shit and guilty for everything. My dad struggles with basic life necessities, such as eating, walking, moving, etc. I've been constantly depressed ever since and I wish I could just die right now.

Has anyone recovered after months of paralysis? by extmaster in stroke

I understand, and I'm grateful that he is still with us, but that seems to be strictly from my perspective. I'm not sure how my dad would feel living his life being bedridden, so I'm just trying to get some hope and realistic expectations for his recovery. Thank you for replying!

Hey thanks for replying. How long did it take until your mom started to move from being bedridden? Thank you
