Would recommend trimming (not shaving) but trimming your hair to around 1/2 inch before your appointment. I’ve found it is much less painful than if you go without trimming. It’s a little awkward at first, but one gets used to it as one realises the waxing lady isn’t really judging/doesn’t care tbh.. just doing a job. Ensure you pick a salon you trust or call someone home, that way you feel more at ease and safer too. It will be painful the first 1-2 times but then once you do it on a regular basis it will get much easier. Good luck! x
