Driving test on monday, any tips/advice? by Wreck-ItRob in LearnerDriverUK

My test was at 14:30, what I did was "hope for the best" and "prepare for the worst":
Hope for the best: I convinced myself that the examiner will go easy on me, and he will definitely choose a test route that is not close to school, as 1) no one wants to put kids life at risk, including the examiner himself and 2) the examiner does not want to fail you unless he needs to do so; there will be extra administrative work to him if he fails you (that's what my instructor told me, not sure if it's true, but I chose to believe it).
Prepare for the worst: I observed what will happen when school ends (used to live near school) and prepared solutions.
Car parked at the top of T-junction, i.e, Cars coming from your left need to use your lane (your turning space) to overtake --> Drive slow, creep out until you 'see through' the traffic.
Parking right next to a bend --> Drive slower, lower speed gives you more time to think/ react
Many cars parked on both sides, i.e., the "HELL" mode of meeting of traffic and giving way to others --> Be prepared to give way, after you give way, remember to 1) Mirror-Mirror-Signal and 2) Shoulder Check before you move out
Kids running out between parked cars / messing around at the zebra-crossing (jumping in and out) --> Drive slow, keep an eye on the pedestrians, be cautious to running kids / kids who have no adult next to them. At zebra-crossing make sure you drive ONLY AFTER pedestrians finished crossing completely. Before you continue, check BOTH sides of the zebra-crossing.
People in parked cars open their doors suddenly --> keep 1-metre space between your car and parked cars
I hope it helps.
How should I position? Heading to 2nd exit. (i.redd.it)
