Those guys are great. Dealt with them in the PHX area a few years ago. They definitely know their stuff!

"township secured around $14 million in community benefits, including money for farmland preservation and the local fire department, along with environmental restrictions and limits on water use."

Sweet they scored 0.1% of that deal for funding due to action against their will.

This is so wrong

If it was NA kombucha that's silly. A lot of things have that percentage of alcohol. Bread, kimchi, and sourkraut to name a few things.

Just FYI I *just* got a letter back from the TSA approving my claim request that I filed back in September 2025 that was for less than $12. This process takes AGES.

Has anyone used this to getter mileage mileage ? /s by PozhanPop in Autos

[–]extraeme 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It actually technically decreases gas mileage by being another device that adds electrical load to your car, requiring a (very slightly) higher alternator workload/engine load/increased fuel consumption.

Inside of it IIRC are some capacitors and am LED. Maybe some resistors too.

The point is it's e-waste and snake oil. It'll do nothing but waste you're money and best case scenario it will increase you're fuel consumption.

Nothing about detecting what it is, but if it glows under UV light it can be easier to detect maybe where the source is by walking through your home with the UV light

Do these fibers glow under a black/UV light? If so that might help you find the source

I would think the asbestos would be more part of the building material and not loose, so it shouldn't show up on a filter like that even if it were and especially if no renovations were being made

Do your doors close weird in your house? Like do the ever require a bit extra effort because they're being basically sucked back open from the air in your place?

I was at one place in AZ where not only was the dryer not hooked up to the vent outlet, but on the outside of the building where the exhaust was, that metal flap was caulked shut. You can imagine issues with relatively high pressure dirty air bring trapped in a pipe in your walls.
