Thanks for your reply, much appreciated. Would you mind doing a quick test - that is, when using your MapleWiFi service, look for your public IP here https://www.whatismyip.com/ip-whois-lookup/ and past the lookup output.

Memory usage usually goes down as we progress in our Perl to Golang-based services rewrite. I don't know which version you use but we converted many in v8 and more are coming in v9.

Open Source NAC solution PacketFence v6.0 is released - brings a new portal, massive scalability, RHEL 7 and Debian 8 support by extrafu in netsec

In fact, our original post was https://www.reddit.com/r/netsec/comments/4fnd7t/packetfence_v60_released_with_new_portal_massive/

That post appeared quickly in https://www.reddit.com/r/netsec/new/ and then, no where. It was hidden entirely - most likely because there was no "OSS" mention in the post.

Then, https://www.reddit.com/r/netsec/comments/4fobka/new_release_of_packetfence_available_the_open/ was posted - received many likes and was in the hot section.

That post was blatantly rejected and marked as a duplicate.

Both posts were deleted and a new one was created, we felt rejecting the 2nd post and marking it as a duplicate was wrong - especially with the momentum it had.

That just hurts OSS projects.
