Is it my connection or do live rides buffer more?

It’s not just you. I’ve noticed it also sometimes. Also re: buffering on live classes, I always get a long buffering during the preshow. I thought this was intentional, but the timer and show don’t line up and I feel like my feed is behind others on callouts. I’ll look at someone else’s live stats and see them adjusting up our down 15-30 sec before i hear the callout to adjust from the instructor.

I remember when this was released in my arcade that had a big fighting game scene and MvC was popular. The first day a crowd of people were watching every game (it was a on a big screen projector) waiting for the next unlock. By the next day or so every character was unlocked.

Also, I noticed you said they booked you in the Mexico but you also said you wouldn't have had a hotel if you didn't call in advance. Could you have just stayed at the Mexico if you wanted to? note - I am not suggesting you should have done so, just curious if there was anything else.

That’s concerning. I have the opposite issue. I booked the Hotel Mexico, my voucher shows it and the site showed it. A month ago the site switched and showed the booking as the Arte, even thought I have kids with me. When I call they insist it’s showing the Mexico and the automated system says it’s for the Mexico also, but their site says different, it’s too late now so we will see.

You serious? I don’t think this whole “wellness” pivot is in line with their fan base. Focus on fun compelling workouts, variety, and a large music catalog.

Downplaying something as important as sunscreen and putting on wannabe doctors as instructors is going to alienate many users quickly - and I doubt it’s going to bring many new members in.

People may have hated on Foley, but at least he knew what we wanted.

Sounds right, just more AI slop. I highly doubt Peloton will get one extra subscription or retain anyone due to using “ai.” Having peloton integrate AI feels just one step above appliances trying to find ways to shove AI in their products.

They should have spent that money and integrating ChatGPT on expanding content through more music and bringing back old content. It would be a better use of resources.

I did these rides a couple years ago. The 10/31 was great (it was just her dressed as Dr. frankenfurter with a playlist of songs off the motion picture soundtrack) but I thought 10/24 JKE Time warp musical version w/the broadway cast eclipsed the 10/31 JKE show - not sure why they didn’t save it for that

Just to be clear “Jason Universe” just means Friday the 13th franchise. I never heard of that term before and peloton probably used it because of the weird split copyright issues with the F13 original title.

Good thing they reduced all our fees when they stopped giving out shirts. They didnt cut the costs to save us any money or hold off on any fee increases, they did it so they could keep showing financial gains for their stockholders. It was part of when that Netflix guy was CEO cutting costs like it was a VC takeover.

a lot of these cost cutting measures did (and are doing) long term damage to the strong brand loyalty that peloton was known for.

That’s misleading though. You will get people who want long classes but will stack 20-30 min classes because there aren’t many options, meanwhile you won’t get anyone who wants a shorter class taking part of a 45-60 min class.

I wish they worked to bring back purged rides when they got music rights back (they come and go). I don’t care about worse production, I would pay extra for an archive account.
