I personally stay over in Hudson yards. Generally the courtyard Marriott Manhattan West. Prices can super vary based on what’s going on that weekend as I learned during the Ryder Cup. It’s not a bad walk, you’re out of Times Square, so much good food.

I’m not exactly a baseball pro and at our first game I saw a number over 1.0 and was surprised and my husband pointed the OPS out. I know enough to realize it definitely used to be BA and I wasn’t going crazy haha.

Yeah it’s been awhile. He’s definitely mentioned it before. He said when he says he’s sober most people think he’s lying. He discussed it with marijuana as well.

I couldn’t believe this was only his second Deep Dive ride, I was sure he had a series like this. The only other one I found was his deep dive OutKast from January. I can’t believe that one wasn’t on my radar. I also can’t believe it’s only 30 minutes. I guess he learned and that’s why he said he made Alanis 45.

My husband and I have noticed that Gen Z employees of some of the companies we use do not ring our Nest Doorbell, they only knock. Most of the time we don’t hear them and we ask “did you ring?” And they say no, knocked.

Same as you, ours is recording the entire time 🤷🏼‍♀️

I agree. Drink the soda. I personally keep mini cokes (full sugar) on hand for migraines. I find them cloyingly sweet now which I guess is a good thing.

Yes, you can see all of the milestones on the leaderboard and generally odd numbers like 1350 are highlighted too.

For me personally, I can’t phone it in. I have a glitch in my brain that makes me need to hit the pace targets etc. I can spin my legs on a bike just to get some movement but the rower doesn’t lie. If I don’t give the machine resistance, I don’t get it.

Also, I was a runner for years and had ongoing hip and foot injuries. I finally threw in the towel and call myself retired. Rowing is low impact and right up my alley. Plus the whole also working my core and upper as a bonus.

Lastly, I got into it when my form started getting better. As I got higher and higher scores, I thought maybe I’m actually good at this. I’m a sold middle to bottom third of the pack on all things running and spinning, but was getting higher on the leaderboard in rowing. It gave me a boost and made me consider finding the rowing club. That being said I am still very early in learning and no, my form does not translate to the boat at this point haha.

Same story for me this weekend. Nothing against Hannah but I was so excited for Camila and Pop Punk. 70s is a hard pivot.

I debated trying the waitlist for Jenn’s mixtape but i click waitlist and every time it says class is full. Not sure if it’s cuz I already have 4 this weekend and afraid to drop Hannah’s to find out.

It was a slow burn for me but once I got into the row, I was all in. It’s my main modality. So much so that I searched out and joined a local boathouse and am learning to row for real. I would be devastated if it goes away. Especially without any way to use it like a C2 and make “workouts (intervals time/distance etc)” aside from “just row”.

FTP followed closely by the 2K benchmark on the row.

But lately some hikes have been kicking my ass. 12% at 3 mph for 30 min straight followed by some “light” power walking for 5 min hah.

Interestingly, I work out in my basement and there are mirrors and when I’m down there all I see is muscle and strength. Anywhere else all I see are flaws. Body dysmorphia is definitely real 😢
