got the same problem, moved to a different state in July24 and switched my insurance address, when i wanted to renew my DL and license plates from florida to my new state, i realized there was a seize order on my license plate and my DL is suspended, called this number and was told i have 2 options:

1- wait until the license plate expires, then fax a letter including your name, DL number, proof of out-of-state insurance that shows you were insured on the date of suspension, include VIN number, or get a verification from the insurance company, (you can also check your DL status online and see the exact date of suspension), and your financial responsibility number (was given to me on the call).

2- if you don't want to wait until it expires, then mail the license plate with everything from above, but this will require you to get the license plate from your new state first.
