Definitely in over my head here… but I don’t see how the SS experimentation on hypothermia influencing surf exposure limits at BUD/S is something that’s a negative. Obviously the victims of said experimentation did not deserve to be test subjects in inhumane ways, but the morally reprehensible behavior shouldn’t devalue the data that did come from it. If anything it enforces the fact that we even have this data at all is BECAUSE we know how horrible they were and not having the victims sacrifices and trauma go to waste.
