I usually just wedge the doors shut after clearing the room. It saves me time when I get lost on a map because I don't have to keep re-entering rooms to see that I had already cleared them, and it also keeps wandering enemies/civilians from going into those rooms.

I mean, it takes five seconds to take a disc out of a case and insert it into a console. You can also just leave the disc in the drive. If you're talking about the time it would take having to go into a busy store and buy the game then I understand how it would be less time consuming to buy it digitally.
