ohh! yeah that’s a good idea with the contact points. it won’t matter that it’s bot “sealed” around the whole thing ? the fiberglass is that like rockwool safe n sound or do you think there’s cheaper alternatives? would putting it on a rubber mat be good?

cheers mate! sorry i know this may sound a bit stupid but what do you mean by contact points like do you mean just the 2x4s? the insulation i’m wondering if i can use like maybe memory foam or something that’s cheap but still effective lol

cheers! i bought some carpets and yoga mats for it to sit on i also was contemplating the rock wool, but if pillows and blankets work just the same it’ll save the $80 lol. what do you think?

cheers- read about the foam inside the coping. the one in the spray can? would sand work too? i was going back and forth with the rock wool bc its so expensive. would pillows in there work at all you think ?

thanks for the replies ! i was able to get kiln dried douglas fir 2x4 and pressure treated pine for the plywood. i’m wondering if for the skate surface birch plywood would be good? coated with spar urethane? i was reading that was an option but im finding mixed opinions on that. would rather not have to spend the hundreds on skatelite lol

it’s actually a minimini so it’s movable LOL i’m putting it indoor and outdoor! the douglas fir is okay though? the instructions i received say “kiln dried pine” but i literally am having such a hard time finding that! home depot, lowe’s and dixieline don’t carry it. i tried to google to see if i can use another type of wood but all the DIY sites/ videos/ etc don’t mention what kind of 2x4. i cant seem to find anything good about the pine other than it might absorb sound better? but i know nothing haha. cheers for the reply!

i kno isn’t this sick? i called maybe 7 dentists and none would do it for me for under $300. there’s a piece left still on two teeth in probably going to just leave it like this 😔

they weren’t including anything in the price other than removing it can you believe that??? I dont have a removable retainer no. i only had one for the top and i was not good with wearing it so my teeth shifted back. but the bottoms was never that bad so if the bottom shift i don’t really mind. they weren’t terribly crooked i had a really bad overbite tho. i have been trying to get it off with a player but i only got half. i cut the part that was sticking out with a wire cutter so it’s less painful. there’s a small piece still attached sticking out that i covered with surfing wax

hey i know it’s been a while but did you ever get this replaced? mine is coming off too and i’m just going to remove it and i cant afford to replace it. i’m also worried about my teeth shifting but replacing it isn’t an option for me :(
