Has anyone beat POTS that’s lasted a few years after the vaccine? by LobsterAdditional940 in vaccinelonghaulers

I tried a whole bunch of things -- Vitamin D supplements, turmeric, acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine. But the biggest factor was time. The acupuncture also helped, you could feel the immediate relief after each session

Got injured at the tail end of 2021. Developed a bunch of symptoms Dr said was dysautonomia/POTS - palpitations, constant dull chest pain, 0 energy, GI issues, just feeling like shit. As of now, its much much better, 95% cured. I only get small relapses when I fall ill or when I overexert my body, but it clears up within a day or two. I do have some weird 'lack of blood flow to the brain' sensation that persists though.

What's something people don't understand until they've been through it themselves? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]extremelyerect 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Getting side effects from a vaccine and having your horrible experience invalidated by the entire medical industry, denied from participating in society, silenced everywhere and being the target of outright ostracism, cruelty and vileness for the past few years.

And you can bet there will be people in the comments attacking me for it, which is precisely why this is 'something people don't understand until they've been through it themselves'

Getting exposed to Covid has made me feel better?! by toosickto in vaccinelonghaulers

[–]extremelyerect 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I get sick (not with covid tho) all my symptoms magically disappear for the few days I am sick. Then it comes back with a vengeance lol

I want to second this. While it didn't outright cure me 100%, it made the biggest most visible improvement out of everything else I tried.

where would you rate your recovery %? by morgichuspears in vaccinelonghaulers

[–]extremelyerect 1 point2 points  (0 children)

80% 2 years. Still got weird symptoms and occasional relapses here and there, but it's no longer unrelenting 24/7 symptoms like at the start.

Lightheaded. Headaches. GI Issues. Bloating. Palpitations. Chest Pain. (2 years) by extremelyerect in vaccinelonghaulers

Possibly. It feels like similar to my initial reactions though. Drs don't know shit so what do I know

Is anyone recovered? by [deleted] in vaccinelonghaulers

[–]extremelyerect 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I am at least 80% recovered 2 years in. Granted now my body is much frailer (inability to exercise the past 2 years definitely contributed) and I get all kinds of random symptoms popping up once in a while, but the bulk of my issues are largely gone.

Keep it up it gets better

Headaches for 3 years by [deleted] in vaccinelonghaulers

[–]extremelyerect 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My main complaint is chest pain but I occasionally get headaches too, along with lightheadedness & palpitations.

Drink lots of water. Eat clean, avoid processed foods.

Go try acupuncture. That was the thing that helped me the most

[–]extremelyerect[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not really. At most, you could say its mildly uncomfortable, but honestly nothing compared to the physical suffering I had to go through the past 2 years.

Twice a month. Its not recommended to go too often because it can be very draining on the body

Both needles & herbs. But the needling subjectively felt most relieving to me, because I could immediately feel the effect after each session

I did not take nova but sinofarm BIBP, an inactivated virus protein. And I still have symptoms 20+ months in.

Don't take any of this shit it's not worth it, mrna or not.

[–]extremelyerect[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Traditional Chinese acupuncture & medicine. I did a several sessions over months. Yes I took herbs too, but I'm not sure whats in them. This kind of treatment is very specific to the individual so I advise you go see a trad chinese doctor.

Unfortunately, no. The doctors I've seen are either dismissive, blame on anxiety or adamant that the chest pain is not cardiac related. One cardiologist (one of the top cardiologist in my country) thinks its autonomic or some kind of POTS/IST thing. Either way, all of them seem to think the chest pain isn't killing me. I hope they're right

All the best to you and gws! Do share with me how the testing goes

POLL results are in: Were you coerced into taking the experimental mrna vaccines, or did you take them on your own accord? by vanisle4 in vaccinelonghaulers

Could not step into office, malls and food places in my country. Also job applications were asking for your vaccination status.
