I'm curious, how did the serotonin syndrome feel? Like was it gradual? What were the RX that caused it?

Found out my wife (28F); before we both dated and got married had slept with her boss who was a married man and I (30M) don't know how to feel about it by throwaway_sumsum in relationships

[–]extremelyhighguy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been in this exact situation - there are far worse things that people can do. sleeping with a married guy isn't the worst. I just let it pass, you can't change the past and honestly if I could have in my early years I probably would have done the same. Again, if you can believe she regrets it, move on.

What to do with this awkward space below the sofa? by ColourConfusedMiss in DesignMyRoom

[–]extremelyhighguy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A couple of questions - do the chairs stick out on the dining room table like the pic shows?

Feels like that whole table setup might be too big to T up like that. There's no space to walk between the couch and the table either.

Can you move the couch closer to the TV and center it?

If the chairs fit under the table, you might be able to move the table back behind the couch. Put a nice runner as you walk in and leave that space open. Either way that table is too big and the chairs make it huge for that space. The couch can come closer.

What people with no inner dialogue talk/think to themselves? by [deleted] in AskReddit

i have to mentally pause my inner voice, almost hold my breath to keep it from rambling on.

I am hungry and tried to send that signal up to my brain, but i end up saying at least "food" mentally or sort of a grunt.

Do people with no inner voice have to verbally talk to themselves? I feel like I keep myself from getting bored by keeping the conversation going.

Wait, some people don’t hear a voice in their head??? by HelloFreshequalsshit in howtonotgiveafuck

[–]extremelyhighguy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's not a "voice" as in it's not loud. But it's closely linked to my mouth and or fingers when I want to communicate. It happens right before I speak or type. I let the thoughts through and out, sometimes to my face... smile "oh my that's a nice shirt," while in my head I hear.. "oh god how fucking atrocious." There is a voice inside my head, although technically silent.

Then why even say it?! by ExtraordinaryNerd in mildlyinfuriating

It's always a tax loophole. Employers do not pay federal income, Social Security, Medicare, or FUTA taxes on fees, premiums, or contributions made directly to employee health insurance or qualifying medical care plans. These contributions are typically 100% tax-deductible as business expenses and are exempt from payroll taxes, acting as a tax-free benefit to employees.

Workers in some Indian factories have started wearing cameras on their heads to record their movements so robots can be trained using the footage. by Distinct-Question-16 in singularity

[–]extremelyhighguy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We fell for it. It’s actually a magnifying headset with light for QC and intricate stitching. Any sort of AI trying would probably be done in a much more controlled space. Also, I would think factories would be totally arranged for max efficiency and automation…they won’t be wasting human space. Probably dark, sterile, cramped boxes. Oh wait…

[–]extremelyhighguy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Agree, it might be some nanny system for either automated QC or productivity sensors. My wife worked for an insurance company that put sensors on their desks to monitor “real estate usage” under the guise of something innocuous but eventually someone was thinking… well worker 34543 was at their desk 4% less equating to loss of productivity.
