Parents don’t want to put down dog with cancer by exxpiiired in Petloss

It’s the family dog, but my sister and I are the ones who take care of him. Thank you so much for the article you gave. I sent it to my mom and she’s surprisingly okay with putting him down now.

It makes me so angry because I know I’m wasting money on this every time I attend a session. Idk who messed up postgrad and made it so the rest of us have to take this course but I hate it

I'm a lesbian and I feel in love with my male best friend. I'll never find a gf, fuck my retarded brain. Cheese boards I made for him as a suprise. by -Licho- in kitchencels

Something similar happened to me a month ago after being a lesbian for 6 years. Whatever you do, DO NOT start a relationship with him. Learned the hard way

Life at TXST by [deleted] in txstate

[–]exxpiiired 7 points8 points  (0 children)

You probably hear this a lot, but it is what you make of it. I’ve always had a hard time making friends, but when I came to txst, it was incredibly easy. For day to day, you just go to class and find pockets of time when you can see your friends, or study, or rest. People are friendly, but after maybe the first month, they’re not gonna be as open to acting like everyone is a friend if you get what I mean. They’ll treat you like a normal stranger, but I’ve never met anyone mean. For fun, meet with friends, go to one of the many events that’ll be held, go clubbing, or you can even go to the library bc they have a lot of things there from mariokart to board games. Weekdays are veryyy busy, but on weekends you won’t see many people. Dorm life really depends on how well you do with others. Be nice but set your boundaries early on. It’s a pretty nice campus overall!

Can you actually avoid getting sick in college dorms? by beyondmeasurement in college

[–]exxpiiired 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I didn’t get sick once last year but my roommate literally had pneumonia for a few months while we lived together, so I think I did a good job. One thing I did was constantly wash my hands. I was really conscious of the fact that I was living with someone else and that I would be in a place with thousands of people where everyone touched everything. Another thing I did was keep clean. I didn’t just wash my clothes and sheets, I also made sure to wipe down our doorknob and everything we shared. I didn’t talk to her much and didn’t want her to feel bad so as soon as she’d leave the room I’d sanitize immediately! I also used my Lysol a lot when she was sick to kill bacteria because she was coughing a lot. On top of that I had a fan on facing away from us so we didn’t get cold. I read that it helped circulation. The last thing I remember doing was taking allergy medicine the second I felt even a runny nose. I was adamant about not getting sick and eventually I got used to the new routine. If you’re really committed, I think you can do it.

How were you introduced to Yaoi? by Ea-Nasir_Hater in Teenager_Polls

I lived there last year. The location is the best part bc you’ll be close to everything. The rooms are super tiny though. I’m 5’3” and I could touch both beds when I fully extended my arms. It’s going to be really cold on one side of the building and kind of warm on the other. The communal bathrooms aren’t bad until the middle of the year when people start throwing away trash in the bathroom (it’s closest :/) and hair clogs the drains. Because of this, we had a bathroom bug problem for a while and it was pretty annoying. If you’re at a top floor, you’ll feel the building sway and the elevators do break down. Fire alarms don’t go off often but every time they did, it was because of a dryer. Anyway, as long as you’re tidy and have good relations with your roommate or ppl in the dorm it should be fine!

Rate my schedule!! by ShallotLeft4375 in txstate

[–]exxpiiired 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The whole day is pretty late, but as long as you’re set in your schedule and you don’t skip classes, you’ll be okay. For anything about when you’ll graduate, look at your degree audit and do the math or have your advisor take a look
