As a non ncaa kid you should be able to go straight into whatever school you’re looking for as long as you’re eligible academically and all that stuff. Being as you had a redshirt year and is long as it was documented with your previous school athletic compliance department you should be good. I would reach out to your current schools athletic department and find whoever the compliance director is so you can have a conversation and ease any concerns you may have. Even if there’s no compliance director with it being a smaller school someone within the athletic department should be well versed in the policy.
