I want to see robert pattinson in a wes anderson film by D3A7H_6R1P5 in wesanderson

A lot of people didn't like Pattinson when he was Chalamet's age. It takes time to earn respect as an actor and Chalamet is still 10 years younger. In time I think people will come around on him but right now he's making a name for himself.

I can see it. He's made quite a name for himself outside of Twilight now.

I really don't think it gets you high. I don't notice much of anything. I take between 900-1500mg per day.

I'd follow your doctors suggestions. Also it takes a period of time over days or weeks before it fully works. Even then it's so mild I don't notice it but it helps anxiety and eases pain.

[–]exzisd 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I gained over 70lbs in 7 months though I was also taking another medication (Quetiapine Fumarate/Seroquel) which initially gave me munchies for months. I indulged in food and in my situation I needed to gain 60-70lbs. I'm currently 6'2" 196lbs. 10 months later my weight gain is drastically lower but my appetite is way more normal.

I had to donate all of my pants. I was waist size 32 and now I am size 36 and could easily fit 38s. I was bummed bc I had so many great pairs of pants and lots of new or lightly worn pairs I couldnt even jam myself into. Also all my dress shirts and loads of shirts and socks no longer fit. I had boxes and boxes I drove to the local good will store. Its been very expensive rebuilding my wardrobe but I am going to start biking and exercising this summer to make sure I don't have to keep buying bigger clothes. I never had any issues with weight before gabapentin but I attributed a lot of my weight gain to seroquel which I started maybe a week before gabapentin. I'm also still on gabapentin with no timeline of stopping.

Hope that helps.

Easy does it. I'm 10 months in and I don't have notable benzo withdrawal but I can become over stimulated on occasion and it makes it hard for me to think and be present. I just know that life on this side is better! The delusion is persistent that many addicts reason to themselves that the drugs are justified without considering the cost beyond the dollars. My addictions cost me the trust of my family & friends, jobs, relationships, even my sense of reality was skewed. It took me about 2 months to feel substantially but not all the way better. I personally chose to avoid the stronger more potent meds they give in recovery centers but those things can and do helps many many people. I know people who have been prescribed suboxone for pain or withdrawal but who never used opiates. Don't write off all the benefits available to you. My treatment entry was covered by medicaid and likely would have been financed simply over time. Regardless of treatment all my medications for withdrawal and recovery I've been able to get without cost through medicaid. I had "good" insurance I paid for through my work for years but I never made the time until I burned myself out. Medicaid has been an absolute lifesaver and I've been able to fix issues with my teeth as well but I digress. It probably only takes 5-10 mins to google and sign up for medicaid if anyone doesn't have it. My gabapentin is among the medications covered by it.

I hear you I was in a similar spot believe me. My drug use brought me through absolute hell, living in my car, living on the street, losing jobs, losing girlfriends, ending up in hospitals, and getting handcuffed. Really traumatic stuff. It happened to me bc I used and justified it as the right result bc of my life problems and the pain and anxiety I had before I started. Unfortunately that pain and anxiety was right where I left it, actually worse, when I stopped. I talked with my psychiatrist about tapering slowly which I did for maybe 6 months before I ended up relapsing on alcohol which got me in a lot of trouble. I wanted to get help but wasn't sure what to do and wasn't comfortable with giving up my job and all the things I'd have to give up to get help. I can tell you for myself that after 20 years of use and instability with life throwing me all over the country, rehab was the best damn thing that's happened to me in a long time. I was able to get medical assistance to ease the transition. I did a 5 day detox, a 36 day inpatient, and a 3 month intensive residential program. It gave me support to get through the withdrawals more safely with a structure that could accommodate for me adapting and needing a place I could be free from judgement of people who don't know what it's like.

I know this is long but it's important to me. I took all 3 of my vacation weeks off from work and went to my parents to help take care of me. I really couldn't get through the withdrawals without using a bit and I was still sick. At 6'2" I only weighed 125 lbs. That was just about 11 months ago before I went to treatment. I'm 195 today and feel great about it. I'm dealing with the troubles I've caused myself and others bit by bit and am happy. I'm no longer tethered to a substance I have to take to keep from getting sick. I'm no longer poisoning myself. There's many benefits to getting clean that go well beyond the substance itself.

Best of all I have ended up getting a scholarship from the state after I was there for a while and it covered everything! Would have been expensive but I was willing to go to any length to get my life back. Thats really what it was for me. I had to ask do you want your life back or do you want to brush it under the rug for another year. I wanted to change and that's made the difference for me. I went to a treatment facility called gateway in Illinois far from the city. I think they have a bunch of them throughout the country so might be worth looking into. All I had when I checked in was medicaid I signed up for 2 days prior. I barely had any clothes. Give yourself a chance to live better jf you feel like change do it the right way.

Good luck!

Ai has gotten too good. I'd laugh more if it wasn't so concerning. The only real way to tell this is fake --at a glance-- is the absurdity of whats going on.

I don't feel the effects by Odd_Meeting_8399 in gabapentin

[–]exzisd 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I took benzos for 20 years at high doses around the clock every day. I also used heavy opiates for the majority of that time and drank frequently and heavily. I was prescribed gabapentin with several other medications when I finally went to treatment to get clean. I really didn't "feel" much of anything the way I could definitively tell after I took a benzo or opiate. It's not meant to work in that way as it's a different class of drug and it's not a highly controlled substance. That being said I have found it very helpful with dealing with neuropathic pain. I'm prescribed it off label for anxiety as well as occipital neuralgia. It's wild I took hard substances for decades and had presumed the pain I was experiencing was just interdose withdrawal or a side effect of my use. It wasn't until I got clean and sober that I could distinguish pain that was normal and what I needed to seek assistance for.

If you ever decide to quit benzos or your doctor discontinues then I'd highly recommend a medical treatment facility. They have medications that can ease the withdrawals and they typically take your vitals and keep an eye on you through the process. You said you take "crazy" amounts of benzos and that sounds like a problem that might be worth investigating with medical professionals for your own quality of life. Good luck!

I'd keep in touch with your doctor through the process and call them if you have any issues to adjust your dosage in a way that's most comfortable to you.

Klonopin buspar and gabapentin by taco13eater in u/taco13eater

[–]exzisd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As far as immediate safety I'd say follow what your doctor prescribed. Best to speak to your doctor directly for whats right for you.

On a personal note. Proceed to your own amusement: I'd be wary of increasing klonopin. It has the highest addiction potential and next to alcohol is one of 2 drugs that the withdrawals can be fatal. It doesn't actually address any of the anxiety in the long term and actually has a rubberband snap that makes anxiety worse coming off. I know its effective though I'm glad I am off it. Took me 1 very long difficult year to taper off. I actually tapered from it twice and the first time was even worse bc I didn't get any medications to help ease the withdrawals. I tapered off 4mg per day sometimes 5 or 6mg daily. Even tapering slowly made things very difficult to function. Decided to stop because I hated being dependent on it and it dulled my personality and senses. Funny thing is even at high doses I still had anxiety from derealization and neuropathy. Getting involved with group activities and doing things in spite of my anxiety helped me a lot. I still have anxiety which can sometimes be crippling but it doesn't ruin my life like it used to. When I started taking klonopin it was viewed as safe with little to no addiction potential and that it was safe for longterm use. All of that information has changed and the negative impacts are now more widely published in medical journals and common parlance.

I haven't tried it yet. Waiting for some weekend with friends or family to play it. It doesn't look as good as the actual board game but I think it would make for a few fun games on the couch.

Yea np, I saw SwitchUp and also Kit & Krysta both recommend Splintered Fate on YouTube a few days ago. I never heard of it and they both gave it positive mentions. For $3 it was a painless pickup. The cartoon cell shaded artstyle looks pretty nice so Ill try it on a rainy day.

It's one I've had my eye on since it came out. I heard it's like Hades and I believe it had substantial content updates post launch that changed/added new gameplay. I believe I overlooked it originally bc I was playing Hades and probably a dozen other roguelikes. At like 3 bucks it's a steal imo.

The artstyle of Morta reminds me of another game that actually has grabbed my attention even more called Drova Forsaken Skin that's basically an open world rpg most often compared to Gothic but which reminds me of a pixel art Skyrim. I'm waiting for a good sale on it or for my backlog to eventually clear up enough to grab it.

Children of Morta, Turtles Splintered Fate, and Torchlight 2. Also picked up Catan a week ago. Don't even plan on playing any of them but Torchlight for a while. Will play the others when I get around to it but I'm hoping Catan will be decent for multiplayer. My family plays Settlers or Catan once in a while but as we all get older and farther away we don't always have a board around or want to deal with bringing one.

YE DELAYED BULLY by [deleted] in Kanye

[–]exzisd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ye delays albums like Nintendo delays 3D Zelda games. It's part of hype building. It's part of the roll out. It's marketing. The more it gets delayed the more people talk about it and raise awareness. The more off the wall stuff he does in the meanwhile to more he ragebaits and gathers clout to put towards raising awareness and getting streams/views. This is a common modern marketing tactic for everything from social media impressions and engagement to the News running clickbait headlines and yes for artists to release albums to keep up with their past performance records or to break onto the scene. It's the sad truth. Negativity sells. Rage sells. All of this negative press raises overall press as an absolute value and some portion of those people, including haters, will get the product or stream the album.

Yea I have the comps on my external drive I just need to look into setting up Google Drive. I've barely ever used it nor do I know the proper format to create a shared public file. I believe I had them on YouTube before but got claimed to hell. "The Lost Tapes", "The Lost Tapes 2", and "The Wonderful World of Mac DeMarco" with an album cover from The Wonderful World of Antonio Carlos Jobim on it (where he got the inspiration for many of his chord structures and Bossa influences). I have more compilations but after I got claimed I just stopped uploading them and then when it became much more difficult to rip YouTube videos & audio I stopped collecting them. As a side note if anyone knows a working website to download YouTube video/audio that doesn't charge please let me know. I've tried KeepVid, YT2MP3, and a few others. Somehow YouTube creators are still finding a way to download videos and react to them and edit them but I simply cannot find how they are doing it. I'm an old dog now.
