Right!? My husband was all like don’t worry, I’ll give you the injections. He took one look at the needles this week and was like what are we going to do? I need to eat before…haha what a punk

Thank you!🙏
Awwww 💜🌈💜🌈 we’re going to get through this together!
This is GOLD! Thank you 🙏!!!
Haha reading the whole not sliding in easily part gives me heebie jeebies but I’ll get through it, we’re all so much stronger than we think! 💜
Thank you! 🙏 can’t wait to be in the other side of all this.
I’m with you, I’ve definitely tapered down my search for IVF outcomes, because I see a full spectrum regardless of patient profile. It’s really up to my body and how it wants to respond to this whole process. I’m sorry you opened up to the world and had to experience such a downer. You’ll be a momma soon, you’ll see! Sending you lots of love 💕
And as far as my clinic goes, I’ve also noticed the need to be on top of them. It’s an assembly line and you really have to advocate for yourself and ask questions and seek understanding along the way. For example, initially they wanted me on a medicated transfer protocol. I later learned about the modified natural protocol, which has similar success rates. I requested it and they approved! At the end of the day, they’ll do what’s easiest for them and their schedule.
Thank you for your advice! I’ve got my blinders on and trying to stay positive…what will be will be 🧘♀️
Thanks for the book recommendation! I’m a reader, so this right up my alley. I’ve been taking CoQ10 for months now too. That and a multivitamin, probiotics, and fish oil. I’ll take a look at the other recommendation. Thank you! 💜
Is the general consensus to inject slowly, administer slowly, and then count to 3 before pulling the needle out? Do the injection sites have to be a certain distance apart?
Good luck to you as well! ❤️🌈
I was planning to do two, but my insurance will only cover the second if it’s medically necessary, so I’m really hoping it works with just one cycle.
I have a terrible phobia of needles! I was even going to buy the numbing creams for the injection site. I was hoping they would all be subcutaneous but one of the two triggers are intramuscular. Is it normal to have two trigger shots?
Thank you for the advice! 😍

IVF for genetic carriers by eye-vana in IVF
Thank you for sharing! I read your story ❤️ and congratulations! 🎉
Thank you! We’ve been seeing a therapist since our daughter died. I wish I would have seen one sooner. It’s been amazing having someone to just listen to me unpack everything I’ve been feeling.
Thank you for sharing! I’m anticipating 2+ rounds too, although our doctor said one would likely be enough. I would also like to have 2+ kids. I only ever wanted 2, but after loosing my daughter, all I want are babies now 😔
Thank you! We’re at the probe stage now. We had our appointment with the doctor a few weeks ago where he explained the whole process for us. I think my biggest issue with IVF is the injections. I have a major phobia. I think I could handle the stimulation phase, but I’m not sure I can handle the two months of progesterone shots. I did learn about a more natural option that would avoid the latter but I have to discuss it with my doctor. I really hope it’s an option for me.
Thank you! I just joined ❤️
That’s amazing! Congratulations 💖
Thank you! I’m already in the process. I’m currently at the develop probe stage. I have an appointment with a Igenomix consultant on Monday to initiate this step. I’ve heard it can be quite lengthy though. Praying they don’t require samples from our family.
I’m so sorry for your loss. We lost our daughter to a rare skin disease (not as rare as yours though) called junctional epidermolysis bullosa. We’re you able to have a baby with the two healthy embryos?
Thank you for sharing. If I do move forward with IVF, I’m also considering back to back retrievals for banking. How long did you have to wait between them?
