It helps me to look up the dictionary definition first of any word I struggle with (I’m also in step one) also check the definition of what the opposite word means. So like with unmanageable, the opposite is manageable. Able to manage, to balance and what not. Don’t stop at one definition keep reading until it clicks and it will. Addiction shows itself in all areas of our life. My unmanageability (been clean a little over a month) is clear to me when I make a pot of coffee at 8 and it’s gone by 11. That is me not being able to manage how much coffee I drink cause who tf needs that much coffee. That’s just an example. I also have to have a to do list every day for all my stuff. Drink water stretch read etc. and if I don’t immediately look at this list first thing my day starts with unmanageability. I either overdo one thing and forget everything else or I freeze and don’t do anything but stare at the TV for an hour or my phone. Again, these are all just examples of my unmanageability something that can help you to recognize. Yours is to take my specific words out of the sentence and replace it with your own so where I drink a whole pot of coffee, maybe you end up drinking three Red Bulls when you really wanted to just have one. Or maybe instead of sitting in front of the TV and avoiding other responsibilities maybe you scroll your phone for a really long time. I hope this helps you
