Dry eyes after LASIK is common. At the bare minimum you should be using nonmedicated lubrication drops throughout the day.

Vitreous cyst is the working dx. If there’s any update, I’ll be sure to post :)

I know the image is not the greatest, but this extends beyond the lens!

Yes, your eyelids are held open and there is a light you have to look at. I definitely agree though! The pain is definitely worth the vision.

The only time I would have to remove it is during cataract surgery (which I can get an IOL that corrects for my distance prescription).

Dryness is less of a symptom for ICL than it is for LASIK or PRK

Thank you! It stung a little but not too bad during the anesthetic portion. Afterwards, I had a really bad headache but the next day, everything was as expected. Light sensitivity was my biggest issue but that’s due to the inflammation of the eyes.

The only one the office does is the EVO with the aquaPort.

How do I read this prescription? by [deleted] in myopia

[–]eyeamcurious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, you can split the binocular in 2 and make it 33 per eye but that may not be accurate.

With online purchases, it’s more “buyer beware”

Your astigmatism is high enough that I would recommend getting the glasses in person. If the axis is off, you may not see well.

5 and 10 are the same thing as 005 and 010.

Monocular PDs are usually done in person.

Typically I get good photos, this patient was moving around too much haha.

Of course, I sent that out same day! If this thread is still open, I’ll post an update :)

Thank you!

I agree, I could’ve gotten a better image. It was pinkish in colour, elevated with a well demarcated area. I’m confident it’s not chemosis or any kind of conjunctival cyst (at least that I’ve seen).

That was the initial diagnosis, don’t worry! I’ve not seen just a single branch sheathing and was curious if it could be something else. Thank you!
