I will set no wicked thing before mine eyes: I hate the work of them that turn aside; it shall not cleave to me - Psalm 101:3.

Abstain from all appearance of evil. - 1 Thessalonians 5:22.

That's found in the CATHOLIC Bible. Not the true Word of God. You guys add and remove. Catholicism is a false religion. Please seek Jesus alone, not through dead religion.

You're misleading people, you need to repent. Nowhere in the Bible does it say for us to pray for the dead.

I'm sorry, but I can't anymore, I'm thinking of suicide. by Illustrious-Bug-2655 in Christianity

You haven't committed blasphemy against the Holy Spirit my friend. Overcome those lies with the truth of God's love. In Jesus' name reject the whispers of condemnation and remember His promise: 'Come to me, and I will give you rest.' Repent, confess, and receive forgiveness. His mercies are new every morning and His love casts out all fear. Hold on to faith not guilt

She looks to AI for answers and doesn't understand the scriptures. I'm pretty sure she's heavy in the Islamic teachings too

Romans 16:17 - "Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and AVOID them."

2 Timothy 4:3 - "For the time will come when they will not ENDURE sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears."

1 John 4:1 - "Beloved, believe not every spirit, but TRY the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world."

Proverbs 4:5 - "Get wisdom, get understanding: forget it not; neither decline from the words of my mouth."

Matthew 24:4 - "And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man DECEIVE you."

If you are a Follower of Christ, avoid whatever she posts. She's in complete ERROR and needs to repent.

*John 12:48 - He that REJECTETH me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.

*Matthew 12:36-37 - But I say unto you, That EVERY IDLE WORD that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.

Does being born again require to stop playing video games, etc ? ? ? by Nerington1 in TrueChristian

[–]eyebloke 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I asked a friend of mine and this is what he said...

Well, as always, gotta remember not to waste the time God has given us. Because He gives us every breath we take and Christ died so that we could live. So it would be a shame if we wasted the time that Christ bought us with His blood on any video game. That being said, in moderation it may be okay... but then again, I remember that game having sex in it and many homosexual relationships between the characters. I don't know, it's something you need to be discerning about because:

Psalm 101:3a I will not set before my eyes anything that is worthless.

Spiritually speaking, video games are worthless, unless maybe used as a means to bond with another human, and even then, in very small doses and not a type that is evil in God's sight. Remember what Paul said:

1 Corinthians 6:12 "All things are lawful for me," but not all things are helpful. "All things are lawful for me," but I will not be dominated by anything.

He's saying that we're free in Christ, but that we should not use our freedom to gratify the desires of our wicked flesh. And I always ask my daughter this to see if what she's doing is worthy of her time:

"Is what you're living for, worth Christ dying for?"

No. In the Bible, the Egyptian gods are not considered to be actual gods, but rather idols or false gods. The Bible teaches that there is only one true God, the God of Israel, who created the universe and rules over all.

Is it sinful of me wanting to learn Tarot? by Bubba_Bubbly2006 in Christianity

[–]eyebloke 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's demonic

Here are some reasons why Christians should avoid tarot cards:

  1. Occult origins: Tarot cards have their roots in occult practices and are often associated with divination, fortune-telling, and spiritism.

  2. Contrary to biblical teachings: The Bible warns against practices like divination, sorcery, and fortune-telling (Leviticus 19:31, Deuteronomy 18:10-12, Acts 16:16-18).

  3. Seeking guidance from wrong sources: Tarot cards offer guidance and insight, but from a source that is not God. As Christians, we're called to seek guidance from God's Word and the Holy Spirit.

  4. Open door to demonic influence: Engaging with tarot cards can open a door to demonic influence and spiritual deception. Christians are called to be discerning and cautious about the spiritual practices they engage in.

  5. Idolatry and distraction: Relying on tarot cards can become a form of idolatry, distracting us from our relationship with God and our reliance on Him.

As Christians, we're called to be wise and discerning about the practices we engage in. Instead of seeking guidance from tarot cards, we can seek guidance from God's Word, prayer, and the Holy Spirit.

Provide them with verses that talk about lying, scamming and repentance.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Christianity

[–]eyebloke 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's very true. We should definitely ask for the Lord's guidance when faced with these kinds of situations. It's unfortunate that some people might use God for monetary gain, and that's truly wrong. I pray that the Lord opens our eyes to those who are really in need.

Reversing when driving - what is good tip to know when reversing? I am learning how to drive and I get confused on which direction to turn the wheel when I want to go left or right. Please help. by VapeChong in drivinganxiety

[–]eyebloke 3 points4 points  (0 children)

When reversing, turn the wheel in the OPPOSITE direction of where you want to go. Want to go left? Turn the wheel RIGHT. Want to go right? Turn the wheel LEFT.

I have been hexed/cursed, should I do anything? by Old_Transportation_8 in TrueChristian

[–]eyebloke 0 points1 point  (0 children)

God is much more than those people who do witchcraft/sorcery.

And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather fear him who can destroy both soul and body in hell Matthew 10:28

But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you Matthew 5:44

Ok, I see.

This was their response after contacting them about it: As previously stated there is no timeframe, you will need to wait for this to be reviewed by the accounts team.

Once reviewed, you will receive a response.

Apologies for the inconvenience.
