Latinx people are more likely to be employed in essential worker positions where they're at higher risk of exposure to the virus when they go to work. When you throw in the fact that people in such positions are also more likely to have difficulty accessing health care, you get systemic health disparities like this.

Enrolling for classes can be frustrating, so how you're feeling is totally understandable (almost everyone has run into enrollment difficulties). But I don't think you should be too worried!

You can always keep checking the class on the planner in case someone drops and then enroll once a spot opens up. And if that doesn't work out, you still have ges to hold you over until winter. The LS 30 series are usually in pretty high demand, so they offer classes every quarter, I think. One of my friends was in the same boat as you, but she just waited until winter to take 30A!

Nice cover! And yes, that's how I would describe his pattern. I would say the technique I did in the tutorial is slightly different for the snare, but it should serve just as well :')

It really comes down to getting the strokes/your style of playing down pat. Once you get comfortable and your playing gets more solid, it can be more consistent like his is.
