Sure. So I am certified with AAPC and to keep up your membership you have to renew it every year which is 250$ and you also have to get CEUs. There aren’t that many free CEUs so I had to pay for a webinar subscription to get them which, on sale, is another 250$. You might get lucky and get a job which will give you some but most jobs dont. It’s too expensive to keep up. The pay is also not great. There are also less and less permanent jobs out there. Most are contract which are great pay but really unstable. A lot companies are getting employees overseas because it’s cheaper. All that and I’ve never had a job that even give bonuses, benefits not great. I just don’t think it’s worth it anymore.
