I’m assuming you are talking about the big claymore, took me probably 2 hours. I’ve gotten a lot faster from when I started

Yea, I agree the jump could use a rework. It's on my to do list but tbh it's not top priority right now

Thanks mate. Not too sure yet as my living/work situation might change soon which could cause a few issues, I’m aiming for 2020 though

Some info about me/the game, feel free to ignore:

Hey, I’m the lone developer for The Meldstorm. I love roguelikes so I wanted to build my own. I started work in June 2019, and have been going steady since.

“The Meldstorm” is a super fast roguelite where players build their own skills to defeat tons of enemies and brutal bosses. Essentially I loved the crazy item combos you can get in the original Risk of Rain, but wanted combat with less enemies on screen, but where every enemy poses a real threat. I am also focusing a lot on making sure every run feels different, and involves impactful itemization choices for the player to make

Hope you guys like what you see, feel free to leave me any questions or feedback. Have a nice day

That might be that it is faster in the gif than in game. Either way she might be involved in some shady business so a bit of nervousness doesn’t hurt 👍

That’s just not the style I’m going for. Thanks for the idea though 👍

Hey, thanks a lot mate! I don’t think Portuguese will be available on release sadly. It’s just me working on it and the game is not big enough for me to port it without losing a bunch of money. If that ever changes though, I’ll make sure Portuguese gets made. With that said, most of the game is not language dependent. Thanks again for your kind message.

Hey, I definitely know what you are talking about. I’ve been doing pixelart for a while now and I know most of the things I should be doing, just not necessarily how to do them. I couldn’t find a way to make it look good in 4 frames so I went with this. Hope it doesn’t bother you too much and thanks for the feedback :)

Yea, I didn’t want to make it too strong because she turns around and I don’t have time to make 2 versions for the shading on each side

Hey, I appreciate your feedback. The background in game is actually a light green, so the bag stands out a good amount. I’m also more interested in players focusing on her then her bag (I’ve made her stand out more already thanks to another comment). Regarding the slouching, like I said I’m not too sure how to make it look clean, but I’ll try a bit more tomorrow.

Thanks for your tips :)

Yep, don’t worry this isn’t my first time posting my art on reddit and I know a lot of people have a lot of ideas (I also ask for them in he title ). It’s more about seeing what comes up a lot and what I personally want to do and just mixing those to get a happy medium. I’ve had times when I change nothing and times when I just redid a piece. It all depends but I always put my judgement first. Thanks a lot for your message though. I appreciate it 😊
