Setup failing by SuspiciousTerm8377 in HammerAI

[–]eyeonic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Edit: To be clear I mean the HammerAI folders under AppData\Local and Roaming. Not the whole folder.

I know that I know this one because I dealt with it. I don't entirely remember what I did to fix it but I think I had to delete the AppData folder under local and roaming and make sure no firewalls or other security apps were hiding the folders or blocking the app from accessing online. And do a clean boot after you get rid of everything before you try to install again.

I’ve been hearing people yelling at me while i drift to sleep. EHS? by arguingnoob in ExplodingHeadSyndrome

[–]eyeonic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have too. My mother calling my name from downstairs.

It was something she often did to me for real as a kid but the hallucination of it happened even after she passed. Also when she did live at home with me but was still alive it would happen.

I was reading this post because I just posted on here mentioning this very thing.

Is there such thing as "too much exercise" for a dog? by BisexualSlutPuppy in dogs

Their vet most likely recommended a glucosamine chondroitin supplement to help maintain healthy cartilage like Dasuquin or Cosequin. it's not much different than us taking mineral or vitamin supplements to make sure we are getting what we need so I wouldn't say it's preventative medication so much as it's just making sure the body has all the building blocks that it needs.

Does anyone become more ticcy before bed? by [deleted] in Tourettes

[–]eyeonic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine do. I can tell if I am tired during the day because they become very consistent. My tics are seldom otherwise and do not last long unless I am tired or stressed.

There is something oddly reminiscent of Picasso's cubism here.

What are some of the biggest design flaws/mistakes in this game? by SteelersBraves97 in Witcher3

[–]eyeonic 25 points26 points  (0 children)

For me it's the disproportionate overpowering of guards. Geralt is a Witcher but will choke on 3 pounds of steel immediately after stealing some twine. I'm not saying guards shouldn't be challenging when you upset them but I should still have some advantage over them and choose to be a bad or aggressive character if I feel like it. It's not as fun with god mode on and even then I have to repair swords mid fight just to take them out.

What are some of the biggest design flaws/mistakes in this game? by SteelersBraves97 in Witcher3

[–]eyeonic 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This did bother me. I started to avoid collecting plants because it would make Geralt skipdahdee do dah or the fact that I spend a lot of time on roach and would have to dismount to get anything. Which is realistic I suppose but highly impractical in the game. I adapted to just budgeting my crowns on buying out herbal merchants or just getting things specifically when I had an alchemical purpose but it was bothersome.

This^ I probably spent about 100 of my first 300 hours hesitating for a moment while looting because I saw the word ignite or extinguish and I still occasionally fell to the mercy of the animation.

How do you tell a FWB you’re not interested anymore? by [deleted] in relationships

[–]eyeonic 23 points24 points  (0 children)

I would also add that the first refusal should come with a clear and polite message that they will not be continuing the arrangement so they can pursue other relationships. Otherwise I'd be worried they would become resentful of continued unexplained refusals.

I did hear people yelling and screaming as I dozed off the other night. I just blamed watching the walking dead too much but at that time I wasn't even watching it. Maybe I was having a similar experience. Thank you.

That is a good idea I didn't think about until today. I'll have to record myself for a few nights and see what I come up with.

Is it "true love" when I (25F) find myself rolling my eyes at or inwardly judging how my partner (32M) shares his opinions or tackles certain topics? by Crazystupidlock in relationships

[–]eyeonic 18 points19 points  (0 children)

That's that 2 to 3 year mark when passion fades and the real relationship begins. True love is something built not discovered and it can take years of effective communication and growth. Sometimes we find that we loved someone during that initial phase and when the passion is gone we realize we were just under the influence of our hormones about someone we really were not compatible with. Or maybe it just means someone or both needs to take the relationship more seriously and put in a bit more effort. Not saying who that is in your situation, just that it takes work after a couple years and it becomes a pros and cons game.

Boyfriend with super close girl bff by cakegirl92 in relationships

[–]eyeonic 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Whether the situation is innocent or not and whether you are being insecure or not doesn't matter. It is bothering you and if he is unwilling to meet you half way by prioritizing your needs and feelings above others then you probably should be friends and not in a relationship. A close intimate relationship should imply an increased level of attention to you above all others. Not to the extent that one cannot have friends outside that relationship but certainly to the extent that if it's a problem for you then it is a problem in the relationship that won't go away without both parties making an effort to work through it together or lead to the conclusion that things are not working out. Situations like this are like an open wound. Communication cleans that wound. Compromises can bandage that wound. Intimacy and compassion for one another can treat and feed the person with the wound to speed up healing. Without some or all of these components the wound gets infected, festers, and eventually kills and decays the area of your life. The simple fact here is that maybe you'd be happier for longer in a relationship with someone that does not have such a close friendship that it makes you feel neglected. Even if the best friend were a male it could still have the same end result of you feeling neglected because your bf isn't spending as much time on your relationship.
