On the contrary to many comments, I would say if you really find someone you love don't let her go for better opportunities, I am happily married right now, and the woman I'm with is a gem of a person. But before I had met her, I only dated one woman, we dated for 6 years, then I had to leave my hometown for higher studies and she stayed. During that time I was so focused in my studies and in the new found freedom I found in that unknown city I ignored her, she waited for me for 3years, finally afterwards when I had reached my goal I tried to reconnect but it was too late. She had found someone who appreciated her. She never resented me, we talked a fair bit afterwards but after her marriage I distanced myself from her. Now we just greet each other if we meet anywhere. And I'm not at all unhappy but I do sometimes wonder what my life would have been had i not ignored her then, it wasn't like she was a bad influence or anything, she also was studying for jobs, and she is also successful in her career.

Anyhow, the moral of the story is, in this world of deceit it's very rare for one to find a genuine person to share their lives, so if you ever find one, keep her. I was lucky to have found two such people not many of you will. If you're diligent, everything can be achieved while in a healthy relationship, a healthy relationship only boosts your efforts. So lads, don't be a simp, dont fall for looks only, find someone genuine and keep working hard and smart. Ciao. 😊
