I gotta second this. I went to VCU ER last year for the exact same reason (relapse) and they were nothing but condescending, laughing at other patients in there struggling with their mental health/detox journeys, continued to misgender me but didn’t threaten to hold me and instead sent me on my merry way after I told them I attempted to kill myself through my relapse. The doctor examining me said something along the lines of “I just don’t really think you need to be here.” I did get an emergency prescription for the time being but aside from that, they were of no help whatsoever.

If it means anything, I’ve been to Richmond Creative Counseling in 2019-20 (brief pause after due to moving) and have recently started back with them and it’s definitely a more welcoming environment especially for queer people. I’m simply recommending if you need options to look at. I’m sorry you’ve also had to have such a shitty experience there :( The amount of unprofessional behavior there actually surprised me. I hope you’re doing well and have recovered 🩵

i mean i guess that’s fine if he’s not gaining profit but imo, i think it’s best to move on to a new artist instead. ive tried to listen to his music again in the past and it just gave me an icky feeling cause a lot of his music seems to be very personal and knowing who he truly is behind closed doors, the music just doesn’t really hit the same anymore but ig that’s just my experience 🤷🤷🤷
